The removal and install went well. The one small problem was when I told the contractor not to throw the old carpet in condo dumpster and they did anyway. I phoned and they came back to remove carpet from dumpster and dispose of properly. Other then that they were prompt courteous on time and billed for estimate price.

After 11 months of trying to resolve a bad installation with another company Daniel Flooring came in and did the correct preparation and installation. They were very sensitive to all we had been inconvenienced with the other company and having to go through the ordeal of moving everything in our home once again to do a replacement installation. They were timely, worked well with our concerns even calling the distributor of the product several times to verify the methods and coverage under the warranty. The floor was laid even better than the first install in terms of pattern and design. In fact it was done so well that we also hired them to do a plank style tile in another very large room in our home. This also was done with a high standard of quality work. We so appreciate a company who prides themselves in their work and customer care. We highly recommed Daniel Flooring and the owner Daniel Russel to coordinate everything.

The fellow came out twice to show me things. The first time, we had a slight misunderstanding. He came right out to straighten out, and he brought samples. The people who did the installation were great.

The guy who came out did an excellent job and I have used the services of Daniel Flooring twice so far. We had him tile the kitchen about 6 months ago. We liked it so much that we had him do it for the rest of the house too. The price that they charged was pretty decent and reasonable. I thought that the work done by them was perfect and I couldn?t ask for a better floor. He was always on time. He was very neat and detailed. I am going to use their services in the future too and in fact, I may use them very soon.

The installers, Dennis and Jason, did a great job. They were careful with the furniture and did a wonderful job of installing the floor. They were prompt worked hard and finished, as promised, in three days. We were able to sleep in our condo throughout the job. The disruption to us was minimal. Daniel was very helpful with helping us pick our new floor. The condo looks like new. The whole experience was pleasant and not traumatic.

I have a very good experience working with Daniel Flooring. The installers were very good. They were neat and they did what I asked. The only thing that I was a little disappointed with was that they did not follow up with the job to make sure of how it went. From the way that our interaction started I thought Daniel might even come out himself, but he did not. Their estimates were competitive. I think that they ran about the middle of the road with the overall price. They did very good quality work. They were able to come out within two days of ordering the materials. They were out when they said that they would be to get the work done. They took the time to talk with me and explain what was going on. So other than the follow up I was very satisfied.

We got Daniel Flooring to do some rubber flooring, so that our grandchildren wouldn?t get hurt when they fell. The flooring is of the same type that is used in hockey rings and gyms, only it is prettier. You can vacuum it and if anything gets spilt on it, you can always wipe it off. Daniel Flooring did an excellent job. They were in and out in a day. They were extremely good. The flooring wasn?t cheap, but it wasn?t the regular flooring, either.

The work was done promptly and thoroughly. I had some special problems in that the new bamboo floor had to join with existing bamboo at one end and existing ceramic tile at the other. This required some customizing that was carefully and successfully done, and caused only a reasonable increase in the original cost appraisal. One Minus: I called Daniel after I had waited a week for the installer to call me about a custom piece he had ordered (and I had paid him for in cash); Daniel took a hands off stance by saying that the installer was the one I had the contract with, not him. I would hire this company again and recommend them to friends.

We picked out the laminate (which looks like real hardwood) with Daniel who gave us a lot of assistance in choosing the right color. Due to circumstances beyond our control we had to cancel at least 5 install dates and Daniel couldn't have been more understanding. When the time came for install, it was done professionally and on time. The finished product exceeded our expectations. The price was great too! Daniel was in the hospital and answering his phone during our job.

Overall everything was Great

The entire job - from estimate to completion - was easy. The estimate was very reasonable compared to others, and the crew (Patrick and Tom) were friendly, professional, and detail oriented. They knew I had some scheduling issues to juggle with things being delivered, and worked hard to make sure the rooms I needed done were completed when I need them to be. The quality of the work was outstanding. It's also nice to have people that work as a good team, cheerful and having fun throughout the day. Tom even helped me figure out how to fix a couple of things in the house I didn't know how to address. I picked them for their high ratings on Angie's list - which were clearly well deserved.

Of all the companies that gave us quotes, Daniel Flooring was by far the cheapest. He was very willing to negotiate, and although he was the cheapest, the work was not cheap. His staff did a fantastic job. It took them a week to remove the old flooring, install the new and replace the baseboards. They worked non-stop from the time they got to my house every morning until they left in the afternoon. They only stopped for a half hour lunch. The workers were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Also, they spoke English, which was important to me since I don't speak Spanish. We absolutely love the results and would definitely use this company again.

Daniel the owner picked out a beautiful tile for me and I chose it. He was very gracious about accomodating my schedule and his installer (Fabian) kept in touch with me as they made their way to pick up supplies, then to my home. The tiles were in stock, no waiting. The job took a total of about 10 hours. I was consulted all along the way about my wishes for the transition piece, the grout color, and the caulking. The workers were gracious, even with me hovering. The job turned out beautiful. Look at the pictures of before and after.

Competitive price. Available and flexible scheduling. Prompt and quick installation. After they left I noticed a remaining odor of pet urine (which is why the old, nasty carpet was being removed), and loose areas where the carpet was lifting. I checked and realized they had reused the old, soiled, tacking strips. The owner did not return my calls for a couple days, until I said I would be filing a report with Angie's List. He returned my call within minutes. He explained that strips last 10-15 years. I countered that these were over 30 years old. He said they still use them if they are in good condition. I said they were not holding in spots, and had been soaked in pet urine. He wanted $75 for the workers to come back out. I refused. A worker came out just to re-tack the loose spots. While lifting the carpet to sprinkle baking powder for the odor, I discover that THEY HAD LEFT THE OLD,SOILED,URINE-SOAKED PADDING UNDER THE NEW CARPET IN THE CLOSETS!
