ACE Landscaping

1. Provider responded to my quote request & met on 06/5 to discuss 1st project; 2. He quoted price of $8,500. To remove sod, install sprinkler system, lay new sod of Zoysia grass, create patio, create path from patio door to the fence & fence to front door, & lastly put r1foot of river rock around foundation of house & air condition unit; 3. I paid a deposit of $2,500 on 6/6 for quote of $8,500. 4. Work began 6/11 to remove existing lawn; 5. 6/12 sprinkler system put in & sod delivered; 6. When sod arrived I was asked to pay for it although I was never told the cost of new sod wasn t included in my $8,500. Quote. I paid sod provider the cost of $1,936.40; 7. Provider told me he would install Zoysia grass which didn t require mowing as often & is weed resistant; what has been installed is St Augustine grass which requires mowing every week as my old grass & I have more weeds than before. 7. 6/13 I contacted provider since there were a couple of issues to be corrected w/ sod installation & sprinkler installation; issues fixed on 6/15 although they still didn t leave me operational instructions for system installed; 9. During our discussions I mentioned a 2nd project for 2026 of building & installing a climate controlled sunroom. 9. On 6/16 provider contacted me regarding sunroom since he d had a cancellation & could use those materials now on my sunroom, & build it for $4,500. If I did project now; 10. We met on 6/16, I signed quote for sunroom & paid for it in full to lock price if $4,500.;this is project #2, & he had sample pictures to show me; I requested his drawings in order to file for HOA permit to build sunroom; 11. On 6/16 he also asked for the remaining payment on original project & requested I pay part of it by check instead of credit card as originally agreed. 13. I paid him a $4,000.; check & a credit card for another $3000 for project #1, the landscaping. 14. He scheduled for 7/01 to pour cement for sunroom floor/patio, he didn t show nor did he contact me at any time 15. I e-mailed him questions & request for pictures for HOA but no response. 16. I texted him on 6/18 regarding drawings or pictures of sunroom for HOA & didn t receive any response; 17. I texted him again on 6/27 regarding finishing project 1, & follow-up on sunroom, again no response. 18. On 7/01 no one showed as scheduled to continue work; 19. I contacted Angi s list on 7/12 & was told you would leave him a message to contact me; again no contact from him after Angi s message; 20. I left him a voice mail on 7/09 @2:25, without any response. 21. To date I have the 1st project not completed & a 2nd project paid for without getting any response. I have paid him a total of $9,200 for a quote of $8 500., plus another $1,936.40 for sod & $4,500. For sunroom for a total of $15,636.40 & I don t have my projects finished,

Rocky from Ace Landscape did not complete the work, he has received full payment and he did not return, several attempts been made to contact him with emails and phone calls and we receive no response. The Sod are dieing and the irrigation system do not work. We are requesting a refund of $5500 or for Rocky to return and complete the work within seven days.

Rocky and his company are a fraud. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I hired them to expand my driveway. They did a shoddy job and took my money without completing the project. I've been working through Angi to resolve the issue but so far Angi has not been able to contact them. In their "quote" their business address was the Boston Public Library. Rocky was hostile and unprofessional when confronted about this. They left without completing the project and I have not been able to contact them.

was told they would install pretty green sod they laid brown trash sod half of what was laid was large clumps of dirt with grass mixed in the install guys said that was normal with Bahia sod and I told them that is not true my entire front yard is Bahia and it was laid as 16x30 in rectangles I spoke with the owner on the phone and told him how upset I was with the sod and all he did was tell me that is how the sod is which is contrary to what I was initially told by him

I found this company on Angie s List: Ace Landscaping owner came out on Friday, May 23rd to look at the job he said his name is Rocky. We agreed to $4,800.00 to lay SOD and oval flower garden with Palm Tree, Gardenias and Crotons. He told me that the job will take 2 days Mon & Tue. and I agreed to have him do the work. I did not receive an agreement or an invoice for what I have paid, it was a verbal agreement. See scans of withdrawal from my bank account. He asked for $1,200 to pay his two guys on Tue. May 27 and demanded the balance of $3,600.00 on Thur. May 29th, I told him that I will give him $2K and he got very upset and told me that I didn t trust him, so I give him the $3,600. You ll see below that and refuse the check he wanted electronic transfer from my account to his account which I did and promised to be back on Saturday. He told me he will be back on Saturday to complete the job and he did not. I called him on Sunday evening, and he told me he was out of town and drive back and will be out on Monday, again he did not show up. I send him the messages below as of now June 5th at 2:30pm. I haven t received a response from him. I m very upset and disappointed, I was taken for.

Ace landscaping came out on 4/12 and I said I wanted landscaping in the front if the house. The provider said they will replace the sod in the front yard too with st Augustine floratam which I what was there and drill a shallow well and install a well pump. On 4/13 the provider came out and said he made a mistake on the quote. He forgot to include new sprinkler pipe that is needed for the new system which it would cost an extra $7-800 and I said that s fine if it s $700 and he said more like $800 provider installed the plants and I paid him $2000 for this part if the job. He came back on 4/15 and put sod down sod called prisms and it was supposed to be st Augustine floratam and it s a much lighter green. The provider said I had Bermuda and st Augustine grass in the yard now so it won t be an issue and started putting it down. I trusted him and it is clearly a lighter green than the rest of the yard. After he put the wrong sod down he asked me for $1700 which was $700 for the sod and a hundred for the well pump. He didn t say what the rest was for so I gave him cash. This was Tuesday 4/15 and he said he would be back on 4/19 to drill the well and install the well pump. So I called him on the 4/19 since he didn t show up and I called him and got his voice mail again on.4/21 I got his voice mail. So I tried on Tuesday 4/22 and he said Angie s list sent him a text saying I wanted to cancel the job which was not true. So he said he will be at my house on 4/26 to drill the well and install the well pump to finish the job. He was a no show no call so I called him and got his voice mail once again. No call back and no show so to this point I ve paid him $3700 cash. $2000 for tge landscaping in the front and $700 for the wrong sod and an extra $1000 which $100 was for a well pump and I haven t seen him or received a call from him to come finish the job. The landscaping in the front looks great but the sod is the wrong type but I can live with that. What I d like to see happen is the provider return the $1000 advance I gave him since I ve paid for the sod and the landscaping already. When I paid him the extra $1000 he said trust me I will be back on the 19th to drill shallow well and well pump and finish the job. The total cost was $5700 $2000 force landscaping, $700 fir the sod and $3000 fir the well drilling and well pump. I ve paid him $3700 which is $2000 for tge landscaping they he completed and $700 fir the sod he installed and an extra $1000 which I ve seen nothing for the extra $1000

Unfortunately, I have to write this after many attempts to get Rocky to come finish the sod project they were paid in full for. Myself and Angi has attempted to get Ace Landscaping back to finish the work for the past month, but each time they schedule to come out they did not show up. I paid them the full amount on the last day of the project because I had to leave the house, but they left and never came back to finish. Therefore, 25% of the yard has been left unfinished. While I could have given them a nice review instead I have to warn others that they do not finish the job. I do not recommend Ace Landscaping.

Very happy with the results. Would recommend.

Came out on a Saturday to quote resorting my yard and gave me an extremely fair price. Team came out the following Wednesday to remove all of the old grass and weeds from the yard and installed the sod on Thursday.

The sod install was done very well. very pleased with Rocky.

Man oh Man what great results I received from dealing with Mr. Rocky and his team. My garden is beautiful and it exceeds my expectations for sure! I happened to have gotten seriously ill during their work but when I was released from the hospital I came to find a beautiful classy garden waiting for me. I absolutely love it! I recommend for sure!
