Stanley Steemer

I had my bedroom carpets dry cleaned about a year ago and decided to try "steam" cleaning this time around to see if I liked the results any better. I went with Stanley Steemer because a neighbor uses them regularly. Booking the appointment was easy, and the technicians arrived on time. They were friendly and overall efficient. They moved a couple end tables upon request. One of the guys was there to upsell, which was fine. I actually decided to sign up for their annual contract program where they come and clean the carpets 3 times a year. It's a good deal, and I like how steam cleaning doesn't leave a chemical smell (I opted out of the deodorizer).

We have an annual contract because we have white carpeting. We pay for it upfront and then they come 3 times a year. The guys are great. I am sad because the guy that came was taking a promotion and moving up to like Ohio or something. I was like OH NO you can't go!

They have specials that they do these many rooms for this much. They are standard priced and they typically run different kinds of specials. I just take advantage of the special. I use them like twice a year.

The cost was like $135, they were having a special. I got all the same rooms done by a company that stands behind their work. I have been using them for years.

They did a good job. The work that they do is very good, what bothers me is, they make offers and then they come in and tell you that, ' Oh this area counts as two rooms. It doesn't count as one room'. And there is a hallway that they have to charge extra for. They nickel and dime you to death on every single...every single space they charge you more money. They tell you one thing and charge you something else. That's always been my complaint about them. But they do decent work. Price I would say a C because their practices are so deceptive.

They were average. It depends whoever they send out. Some people they sent out, they did excellent. This group they sent out, it’s average. But you can’t go by depending on who they send I guess.

Arrived on time, did a fantastic job, floor looks new again! Professional team! Will use them again!

They usually come in somewhere between $80 and $100. We've got pets. So, they charge an extra $20 to $25. We've used them several times.

Was called 20 minutes prior to arrival.  Showed up within the time window.   Very pleasant to work with and did a great job in moving and putting back furniture!

The two man crew came on time and did a beautiful job cleaning my two rooms of carpet. They moved mostly all the furniture and placed it back where it belonged.

Provider arrived on time as promised with two men. Tech came into the house to survey what I requested. He recommended to scotch guard the cleaned carpets which we agreed on the price. He and his partner began the work. They were very professional and neat and finished promptly. They proceeded to clean up , put their equipment away and issued instructions on when we could walk on it and how long it would take to dry.

They came promptly. They are very professional and careful. The staff is clean and respectful. I always am pleased with their services. I would definitely recommend them. I use them all the time.

The two young men arrived on time. They call before they arrived. They gave me the time and they arrived on that time. I had small area rugs which I asked them to clean and thy did, this was not included in the original price. All in all a great experience.

First of all, they quoted me one price online, then the technician wanted to charge a higher price when he arrived. I had to show him a print out of what I had been quoted on line. Then he says, oh oh, I will honor that quote. Why isn't there just a firm price. I felt like I had to negotiate with him. Then once they were done, on e of our carpets stank to high heavens. They came back out and said it was because the carpet had wool in it. No one mentioned that to me before. Anyway they said when wool gets wet it smells. Why did they clean it in the first place then? So they and quot;deodorizedand quot; it and to this day it still stinks. I would never recommend these people.
