HAMMOND SCREENS INC

Initially, it was very good. Dale Hammond, the owner, is a very nice and straight forward individual. However,
that's the only good part of the story. Unfortunately, who Dale chooses to do the work to which his name is represented is a bad choice. He sent out one worker to install over 40 feet of aluminum fencing. To cut to the point, the
fence was crooked and bowed in numerous places; joints didn't meet up (almost 1" gaps in some places); the fence adjoined to the house at an angle OTHER THAN 90 degrees, there were extra holes drilled into the aluminum where the
installer mis-measured (end of railing looked like swiss cheese), and the touch-up paint sprayed on was running down the sides. Overall, it was a disaster. I took pictures and sent them to the owner and he quickly admitted how bad it looked. Dale did respond each time I called.  However, I had to call back 5 or 6 times to keep fixing his mistakes. Each time he sent the (same) installer back, he literally scoffed and laughed at me when I intially pointed out where the fence was crooked (he couldn't even tell thoug it was so obvious to me and my neighbors). I had to get a measuring tape and show him the fence was 7 FULL INCHES OFF from where it should have connected to the house wall. All my neighbors couldn't believe at how bad it looked . After all the corrections, it is now "BARELY ACCEPTABLE", but it is still not plumb or straight in certain places and overall a noticeably bad job. Our next door  neighbors used a different installer, and the fences are night and day. All the new neighbors moving in (and there are a lot b/c it's new construction) see the fence and instantly know NOT to use the same company I did. 
Again, Dale was a nice guy and did respond to my complaints. However, he should have sent out someone more competent to install and then fix the first guys mistakes. Instead, he kept sending out the same unprofessional and unqualified person to fix his
own mistakes. And all that person did the whole time he was at our house was complain about Dale and show his dissatisfaction about being back at my house.
Overall, I am very dissatisfied and very unhappy with the product I paid good money for. Definitely go somewhere else.
Also - I had gutters installed by this company first. Didn't realize it at the time, but the pitch was off and water was collecting in the gutters. Had to have another company adjust the pitch so they drained properly. There are better options out there for aluminum products (fence and gutters).

I FEEL THAT THIS COMPANY HAS TOO MANY CUSTOMERS AND THE BUSINESS HAS GOTTEN OUT OF CONTROL FOR THEM TO RESPOND IN A SHORT TIME. THEY ALSO DON'T TAKE THEIR TIME TO DO A VERY GOOD JOB.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. ONE OF MY FRIENDS ASKED ME ABOUT THEM AND I TOLD HER NOT TO USE THEM. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY DID. I TRIED TO GET THEM TO COME BACK AND FIX WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE, BUT THEY REFUSED TO FIX IT.

THEY DEFINITELY HAVE THE BEST PRICES IN TOWN AND THEY DO VERY GOOD WORK. I HAVE ACTUALLY RECOMMENDED THEM TO THREE OF MY NEIGHBORS AND THEY'VE ALL THANKED ME FOR IT.
