My experience has been very dissatisfying. I have tried many times to set up an appointment to have the work done. I am able to reach them on occasion, but when we set up an appointment they have never shown up. They never called to let me know they would not be able to make the appointment or why they were unable to make the appointment. I would not recommend this company to others just because of how difficult it is to set up an appointment to have the work done.

Poorly.  Called them 3 times within 3 weeks with no response.  Emailed them to get refund and they referred me back to Angie's List.  Curiously they did not try to make the experience right.

I called the company promptly after purchasing the deal and got his voice mail where I left a message, never got a response. I waited about a month to call him again and when I did I was told to email or leave another message and he would get back. I have not heard from him and will never use this company again.

I would stay away from this guy. When I looked at some of his reviews recently I noticed he had begun receiving poor reviews saying he never showed up.

Had a scheduled appointment for 4/9 at 4 pm.  George called less than an hour before the appointment to reschedule, I agreed.  He stated he would call later that evening to reschedule - HE DID NOT CALL!  I called on Thursday, April 11th requesting a call back - NO ONE CALLED.  I called again on 4/16 again requesting that someone call me back within 24 hours - STILL NO ONE CALLED.  
I'm done!  I will be contacting Angie's List for a REFUND!
With what the economy is today I'm still amazed at the lousy customer service some companies still provide.  
I try and give everyone the benefit of the doubt and I'm sure others have and will have a different experience with this company but for me it was an F.

.  He does real good work and that makes me hire him over and over again. He is quick to respond. I will use him in the future.

Did not receive estimate prior to choosing another company

They provided a detail estimate of the entire process of the contract. Showed up everyday and worked late when needed. They always cleaned up their mess at the end of the day and was kind to my cat. The quality of the work was superb to other contractors I have used in the past on my other home. The timeline of the contract was completed a few days earlier and all materials were shipped on time as needed. I highly recommend GK Construction Company LLC to anybody that needs any type of remodeling work.
