Several years ago Chris' replaced my AC system. Recently my AC quit on a Thursday and when the tech arrived he advised me my compressor was bad. The compressor was under warranty but I would have to pay for the labor. Apparently Chris' does not stock parts for the systems they sell and when I called their office on Monday the girl that answered said they would have to order the compressor and during the conversation stated the cost would be almost $700.00 which included 2 service calls and "$75.00 for ordering the compressor". When I asked what brought the cost of a warranty repair to nearly $700.00 she stated that was their standard charge for replacing a compressor. On Thursday another tech arrived at my home with the compressor. He informed me the bill would be $685.00 and after going nearly a week in mid July with no AC I told him to proceed but that I was ****** at what I felt was a rip-off for the cost of a warrantied replacement. I was in my car about 30 min. later when Chris called me on my cell phone yelling that I had been "talking sh-t" to his tech and that I didn't like his prices I could go somewhere else. (at NO time was I other than polite to the tech. I have owned 2 service companies and know these guys are just doing what they are told) Desperately needing to have AC again and not wanting to pay another company for the cost of the compressor in addition to the service fee, I explained that I had no choice but to pay the cost but I had every right to object to his price for labor. While I was on the phone, I asked to be sure and get a breakdown of the cost. The replacement of the compressor took just over an hour and when Robert presented me with the invoice, it was simply for $685.00 with no breakdown of the additional cost above the 2 service calls . I then called Chris on his cell and asked if I could get a breakdown of the cost. He again began yelling and refused to detail the cost. I paid the bill and promise that it was my last check to Chris' AC. I have made a mission out of letting anyone one I speak with about home service companies to relate the details of my experience with this very unprofessional owner.

We had been without air for 5 days. Got fed up with the other company and called Chris A/C. They listened to our problem, responded promptly, and we had air within 2 days! I now consider them my A/C people.

I placed a service call for a no cooling problem. $75.00 service charge apparently for the truck to drive to my house. Technician found a clogged drain line. For him to blow out the drain line cost an additional $60.00. I never did understand the reasoning
behind the charges and still don't. I have no argument with the contractor, I just choose not to do business with him in the future

Exceeded all expectations when he ordered all parts and got it covered under warranty which I didn't even know about. Replaced the entire controlling mechanism all at no cost to me.

We love these guys. They maintain our main air-conditioner as well as a split air unit we have for our computer room. They've even handled repairs needed at some rental properties we own that are actually out of their service area, but they did it as a favor to a long-term customer with no extra distance surcharge. Plus, they answer at all hours.

He was prompt and very professional. He repaired leaking coils in the A/C, refilled with Freeon, and gave us an estimate should this happen again. We would have to do more extensive work if this should happen again.

The air handler location is in a room in the attic, and it had to be brought through the ceiling entrance in pieces. It was reassembled in the attic and mated to the old air handler. The outdoor compressor unit was installed on top of the existing concrete slab. Some crappy insulation of the existing A/C lines was replaced as well. I have had zero problems with the unit. I was visited later to see how the unit was running, check up on everything, and to apply any tweaks that might be necessary. Then, as now, I was happy to report that everything was functioning flawlessly. I highly recommend them to others. Soon after, Chris' A/C made my neighbor a happy customer as well.

Very nice, polite, and professional repairman. He looked for an easy solution to the problem and fixed it. Reassured me that if it broke again, they would have my information on file and they could order the repair part prior to coming out to replace. Would hire them again and would also recommend them to anyone.
