Capital Land Management Corporation

We purchased a foreclosure in an upscale golf community, and
spent about $30,000 on new sod/landscaping about 15 months ago. Shortly after,
we hired Capital Land Mgt. to maintain our property.
I have attempted to contact the owners by phone/email/text and have made
several requests to the crew that comes to my home weekly. I have
received absolutely NO response
(although they continue to bill my credit card on file regularly). Last week
(September 5th), the maintenance crew knocked on my door to inform
me that some of their equipment had been broken the day before, and that they
were only able to mow the grass. I expressed my discontent, and they decided
that rather than doing any work, they would have the owner call me or come
discuss things with me in person. It has
been a full week, and I have not been contacted by anyone.
When I initially signed up with this company, the service was impeccable.
However, over the last 3 months, there have been countless problems. The
maintenance crew has only been hedging the shrubs 25% of the time, and I
constantly have to manage them to be sure that things are done. They are always
in a hurry, and subsequently, there are very large piles of grass that are
scattered throughout the entire yard. I have addressed this with the maintenance
crew, and they pretend to be completely oblivious. They are in such a hurry
that the grass does not get mulched properly, thus leaving large piles of dead
grass everywhere. Not only does this look bad, but it also prevents the sod
below from getting enough sunlight. To take matters from bad to worse, the
fertilization guy with Capital Lang Mgt. does not seem to come on a regular
basis, sometimes spanning several months between services.
We have several decorative lava rock beds surrounding trees
in our yard, and these dead grass piles almost completely cover the lava rock.
More than anything, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication,
customer service, and follow-through.

They come on a routine basis from spring to fall. We have been using them for over 2 years. They are very responsive, dependable and always clean up after themselves.

Conversations with the company were somewhat condescending. The issue we originally had looks to have been a mistake on our part.

I like the fact that they actually show up and do their work. The best part was that I do not have contact with them. They were reliable.

They give very personalized care. They come and go over the entire project, and let you know what you should expect and what the cost might be. There is nothing unexpected.
