Arbor Pride

Went great!!! Will def use again.

They did not call within the specified 3 day period to arrange appointment. I had to
call them after 4 days. Set appointment and their guy called me when he got to
the house, we agreed on scope of work to be done and set up a day to perform
the service. He was very knowledgeable. They were a no show on the service day,
Friday. In the mean time received a letter from HOA that the work must be
completed within a couple days. Called them Friday and was told they would get
right back to me. Got a call the next day and they apologized for the mix up and
that somehow the job did not get on the schedule. Promised to do the job on
Monday. They showed up fist thing Monday morning and did a great job. In my
opinion they went over and above the amount of work I had expected. Clean up
was perfect, not one branch or wood chip left on the property. I have a much
bigger job coming up in the near future and I will definetly have them place a
bid. Other than the lack of communication in the beginning, job well
done.

The service was okay, but it was awfully expensive.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. They did a nice job on trimming the tree. They did not initiate the call, I initiated the call to them. They were very nice. I think it was like one of his first big deal purchases, because he was not really sure how to process the work. He was a very nice man. I think he was a little new to the process. I added another $25 or so for him to do some other work on that tree. He was a very professional guy, it was a good teamwork overall.

Chad Trowell and his crew, especially, Dean, were very courteous and professional.  I felt so good about them, that I actually paid them in full prior to the completion of the job, in that, my wife and I had to leave town.  I knew that they would be finished with the job before we arrived back home.  This is NOT a common practice for me to pay before completion! 
We were extremely pleased with the job!

They arrived the same day I called. In less than one hour  the tree was down, cut up, loaded on a trailer and the area cleaned up.They were friendly, competent and professional. I will be using them again in the near future and have no reservations about recommending Arbor Pride.I war very pleased with their performance and cost.

that he was going to start with.  As he chained sawed one of his crewmen would bring down the branch gently with the rope.  Now these branches were so large and heavy when they laid on the lawn you could feel the power.  My community was amazed and in awe at Chad and his crew's workmanship.  Nothing got in the street, his crew cleaned up as Chad went along.  Mulched what they could and Chad hauled wood out with this truck.
I purposely joined Angie's list because I knew I had to find the best.  In our opinion, and my communities', Arbor Pride is an A++++.  Everything was cleaned up and we will use Arbor Pride for any future projects.  I also know my neighbors wanted his business cards which we have.

The overall experience with Arbor Pride was positive.  Chad and his workers arrived exactly when he had promised, they began working immediately and completed the work in a timely fashion.  They worked steadily, they took only a short lunch break, they were polite and friendly.  They trimmed the trees exactly as Chad had said he would, all the trees were trimmed at the same level, so the effect is visually pleasing.  After removing the trees we wanted cut down, they ground all the stumps down - we can no longer see any evidence of those trees.  No heavy machines were driven onto our yard, Chad's workers climbed the trees and did all the work while in the tree tops. 
Chad and his workers cleaned up every single twig from our yard, they even raked the saw dust around.  When they finished the entire job, there was nothing left on the ground to show that tree work had been done - it was amazing.  Chad's workers even got on our roof and blew the pine needles off.
When Chad and his workers returned later to pull out our old bushes, they showed the same efficiency, attention to detail and cleaning up as they had when they cut down the trees. 
Chad also returned to supervise the planting of the oak trees. 
We were pleased with all the work Arbor Pride did for us.  During the most recent tropical storm, one of our trees has begun leaning, I plan on calling Arbor Pride soon to ask them to remove that tree, also.

Chad Trowell, the owner, came the same day we called him.  He showed my husband work he had done in the area and advised him as to what could and should be done to our trees to get the results that we wanted.  He showed interest in getting our business by negotiating and throwing in a few extras.  He actually started a day sooner than he thought he would be able to, and finished in one day.  They did a great job - our pool is getting a lot more sun, our trees look great, and we won't have so many falling limbs and leaves to clean up in the future.  They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves and blew several years of  built-up debris off our roof.  Our yard looks great and we're very happy with the results.

Chad came to my door and said he was doing work in the area for a neighbor.  He was offering tree service and other home care such as landscaping and pressure washing.  He gave me an estimate for pressure washing my roof and home. It was to include the pool cage, the entire pool patio and porch and all sidewalks and driveway that was painted. He required a $200.00 deposit. His crew would start work on Friday morning,  His crew showed up on Friday but it was  around noon. When they got up in a boom to start the roof, they were worried that they might damage it. So I canceled the roof section and told them to do the rest of the job. They cleaned the front of the house then moved to the back and did the pool cage. The patio was never cleaned. If they did attempt it , it was a lousy job. There is still large sections with lots of dirt between the pavers and covered in moss. even a weak hose would have removed the moss. They completed skipped the back part of the house. pushed all the furniture up against the window and avoided the whole area. If they had even attempted to do the back porch, the windows would have had water stains like all the other windows, so they didn't even get close enough to get them wet. Their are black marks along the edge of the pool where their water pressure hose was dragged. They did clean the front steps, sidewalk and driveway.  The two people doing the cleaning were nice and polite., but they did a lousy job. When i paid them, I was so upset i forgot about the deposit and paid them the full amount.  So i overpaid them $200.00. I have called and left several messages with the woman who answers the phone about the overpayment, but no one has called me back. So they get a D in the price field.   I expect I will never see my deposit money again. This company might be good when doing trees but they are terrible pressure washers. I would never use this company again and will be filing a complaint  with the BBB. I have been unable to find any licenses under any name they gave me.  I would highly suggest you use a different company . My mistake was believing them without proof of license. 
Update: Chad did come back and redo the pressure washing for the pool patio.  I did receive the refund for the overpayment. I would not hire them for pressure washing but I have seen their tree work and it seems to be of good quality.

I was very happy with them. It is owned by Chad Trowell. His prices were half that of the arborists listed on Angies List. I saved some money and got good service. He was fast and put in good effort. He had good equipment. I have recommended him to a few of my friends.
