I paid the amount in full as soon as the job was done after 2 days. There was an area that didn't look good because it needed more of the sealing material. He said he came out 3 times to fix it but it never looked right. After several attempts, I gave up. In less than a year, all of the ugly stains came back. I called him several times but he never returned my calls. I reported him to the BBB but he responded to them saying that the stains came back because of a "runoff" or iron in the water from the sprinkler. This is not true because I do not have well water and we never had iron in our water. The contract states that the warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship for 24 months when subject to normal wear and tear. Our driveway has never been abused. We try to clean it as often as we can but the rust stains are just so unsightly. If he did not promise that he will get rid of the stains completely, I would never have agreed to pay that much money.
