The technician checked to make sure the the condensate line was clear, which I had already done, but did not fix the leak. He gave a recommendation on how I could fix the leak, but it didn't work. There seemed to be no concern about COVID-19 before or during the visit.

They are a little bit high. The quality and repair are really good. They are just expensive. Unfortunately, they are the one who installed the unit in my house, so I have to use them. Very good. They did allow me to pay in two installments, which was good.

Did not put it in the way they said they would.
and they charge me $175 more to put it in another way.
It kept leaking water. They been here 4 times to fix the leak.
I wish I could have them take it back and use a different company.
I would not recommend them for any service or instillation.
They also were the highest bidder.
The Citrus Chronicle paper awarded them the best of the best that's a bunch of garbage. I believe I should have got Daniel's
to do the instillation. I had them do repairs on my old unit they do good work at a fair price. The reason I didn't use themI did not like their  lennox brand.

They were great. We've used them in the past on many occasions and they do really good work. The workers are very polite, well mannered, and efficient. They seem very knowledgeable. They were very prompt. In fact, they gave us an estimated time of when they would come out and were early.

When we first moved into our new-to-us home, we couldn't seem to get it cool.  We thought it was because it was just so blistering hot.  But, after 2 weeks of almost 24-hr a day running of our a/c, we decided we'd need to call for a checkup of the a/c.  We called Bay Area, and they had a technician there within just a couple of hours.  The technician was friendly and professional, and almost immediately determined that we had no freon.
Then he found where the leak was and showed it to us.  He offered us 3 different levels of resolution, along with cost estimates for each, and estimated lifetime for each fix.  We opted to install a whole new system.  He scheduled it right then, and told us what day he'd be returning.  It was going to be a couple of weeks out, as they had to pull permits and get the unit in place.  The tech told us to call them back if we had any problems in the meantime....and we did.  Again, the freon leaked out, and we called for assistance.  They sent a technician out right away and he refilled the freon so we could get some relief.
Right on time, on the scheduled delivery day, our original technician showed up with his permit already emplaced on an in-ground sign, removed the old unit & installed the new unit.  I'm pretty sure there was some duct-work done too.  He also installed a new thermostat, that came with the new a/c unit.  He explained how to operate the thermostat, how to schedule the county inspector, and cleaned up all traces of the installation mess.  This must have been on the hottest day we'd had so far.
Everything was done well, and according to code (per the inspector), and quickly.  And when we were hit by lightning just 2 weeks later, they immediately sent a serviceman out to repair the damage.  He was very apologetic about having to charge us for the repair, but lightning was not covered under the warranty.  He had the necessary parts on the truck, and the unit was repaired within 2 hours.
Dealing with this company was easy and pleasant.  The technicians are personable, polite, well-trained and appear to be very knowledgeable about their service.  I will return to Bay Area AC for any necessary service in the future.

I put off getting an estimate on the new system until our old system actually died, as I feared the high cost of a new system and thought I'd have to get a high-interest personal loan or finance via credit card since I wasn't eligible for a home equity loan. I had also been told that I'd need to get all new ductwork, etc. I was afraid I'd have a hard time getting someone to come out and give an estimate on short notice, but Bay Area got me an estimate the next day....they were able to set me up with a 12-month zero-percent finance plan. Taking the high-efficiency rebate from the electric company and the tax credit, which together lowered the price to around $5,000, meant that instead of being stuck paying off a big loan over a couple of years, I'll have the whole thing paid off in a year at no interest. Plus, I qualified for a senior discount (though I'm not that old--it was either 50 or 55, I haven't seen one of those for under-65 in a while). Work took a bit longer than expected, but it was raining that morning which forced a late start. Also, being an old and somewhat quirky house meant the installation was bound to be trickier than normal. At any rate, they kept at it and finished in one day, which was all that mattered. The new system works great, the energy savings are amazing (the old system was really crap). I am so happy to have a high quality, high efficiency heating/cooling system, it's great not having to worry about breakdowns and high electric bills. I was amazed at how responsive Bay Area was, too, especially at the height of the summer season. Final note--after system was installed, I signed the forms and noticed the price seemed a bit higher (by a few hundred) than I expected....when I got out my estimate later, I realized that the senior discount was missing. I called the office about it and within a week received a check for the discount amount.

I moved into my new-construction home in the fall of 2002. The heating and cooling system had been installed by Senica Air Conditioning. (Please refer to my complaint filed under their name for further information regarding their poor performance.) It soon became apparent there was something terribly wrong with the cooling system of my new home. While my programmable thermostat was set at a constant 78?, the inside temperature would rise to 83? on an almost daily basis during the hot summer months. Over the course of the next five years, the original company attempted to correct the cooling issue. While the service trips were covered under warranty, each and every attempt to diagnosis the problem was met with negative results. After five years of dealing with enormous electric bills in the summer and frequent visits from Senica?s service technicians, Senica promptly announced they were no longer going to attempt to repair the unit as it was now ?out of warranty.? After being dumped by the original installer and having dealt with a non-functioning cooling system for five years, I contacted BAY AREA AIR CONDITIONING, INC. Within minutes of arriving at my home, BAY AREA had a tentative diagnosis. After a few hours of meticulously-performed diagnostic tests, which were performed at no charge to me, they confirmed their diagnosis. Oddly enough, there was nothing wrong with my cooling unit itself except it had been installed improperly. BAY AREA installed the proper size ductwork and re-stalled the air-handler after correcting the manner in which it was installed on the stand. After all the necessary adjustments were made, the cooling unit, for the first time EVER, was able to properly cool my home.. I cannot sing the praises of BAY AREA enough! They stepped up to the plate and took on another company?s problem. They recognized the issue and took the time to thoroughly diagnosis it. Their technicians showed up on time and as scheduled, and they even swept my garage clean after the repairs were completed. The repair estimate was right on the money, and I received follow-up calls to ensure the system was properly cooling. I would not hesitate to recommend BAY AREA to anyone who is looking for a new heating/cooling system or for repairs to their current system. BAY AREA AIR CONDITIONING, INC. has mastered the art of customer service and they have a customer for life!

Bay Area Air Conditioning showed up the same night they were called to fix my problem, which with the heat in Florida is critical. Bay Area Air conditioning put a new unit in for me, maybe five years ago. I have them run a check on it annually. My experiences with Bay Area Air Conditioning have been very positive. They have been responsive. The technician is very knowledgeable. They don t try to sell me on things I don t need. When I call them with a specific problem, they will tell me if I should do something, but they aren t pushy. They let me make the final decision. I have a service contract with Bay Area Air Conditioning, so they will be coming back out.
