It was a hotel brand bed. It was quite expensive. Especially at that time. I can't really remember what I paid for it. But it was more expensive than the other beds that they had there. Don't forget 7 or 8 years ago, if you paid $2000 or $3000 for a bed. It is not like today where you would almost expect to pay that. In fact, I had picked out another bed. Then the salesman said, hey why don't you lay down on this one. There was such a difference. It was such a great bed. I said ok. I don't care about the price. I am going to buy this one. Right away, I was unhappy with it. Within the first year, you could feel like things sticking into you when you are sleeping. They sent someone out and said there was no problem. But there was. That bed was guaranteed for 7 years for replacement. After a while, it started sagging. The mattress is extremely heavy. We are old people. We can not be lifting that mattress. So, the man came out to look at it. He said you have to take the cover off it. Because we are not going to measure it with the cover on it. They sell you a cover with it, like a mattress cover. We said, we can't do that. We can't lift that mattress. He said that he didn't have to do that. I am just going to say nothing is wrong with it. I measured at the end and it doesn't seem to be sagging to me. That is not where it is sagging. It is sagging where we sleep. He said too bad and he left. They said nothing is wrong with it. I spoke to so many people there you have no idea. The bottom like is, you will just have to hire someone to come in there and take the cover off the bed and lift the mattress for the man if he says you need to lift it. That is ridiculous. You know what I need a new bed. When you pay that kind of money for a bed and that is what they tell you. I am 74 years old and my husband is 81. We can't lift that mattress. They won on that one. They should have replaced that mattress. They won but I won't go back for another bed. I am going to buy it somewhere else but not there. I won't buy anything there except for my makeup. They do not honor their bed warranties. Not in my case. They make such an issue out of the warranty when you buy the bed. They just don't honor it. It was under warranty, even when I called them back a second time. They was just so nasty, you can't imagine.
