After starting with Jacksons with Master Bath, which they did an excellent job on, we just kept going, one project at a time, and ended up doing most of our house over with them over an 18-month period. My wife and I are very pleased with the results. Nice family-owned business, real nice people, talented. We feel like we got very good value.

This team was excellent in remodeling our master bath. We have several projects planned for our house, and have now contracted with them for another one. Ryan, the main business leader, is thoughtful and patient in discussing details of a job, showing hundreds of photos and bringing many samples until each selection is finalized. Once contracted, he communicated the ongoing plan regularly and let us know when they would be around each day. Stayed on schedule, kept it neat and clean, and the final result was just what we'd hoped for. Highly recommend.

Our kitchen remodel went extremely well. We are very pleased with Ryan's work, his attention to detail and the expertise he demonstrated in every aspect of the remodel - design, construction, electrical, plumbing, cabinet and countertops, installation of appliances. Design is an iterative process and Ryan worked closely with us to make changes as appropriate along the way to build out our dream kitchen. Jackson Builders is a family owned business and it shows. Everyone is used to work together and the small crew did great work and always left the site cleaned every night. I highly recommend Jackson Builders based on our experience with our kitchen remodel.

Ryan did excellent work. We love our new kitchen. He custom build us a range hood, an end shelf cabinet and did the moulding exactly how I pictured. Other contractors we met with didn't understand what I wanted or told me it couldn't be done. The details were very important to us and if there was ever an issue he resolved it. We will be hiring him again to do the upstairs bathroom.

Ryan did an excellent job designing a floor plan that would work for us. He was able to fit in almost every detail that we asked for, and assisted with making recommendations along the way. The job lasted a little longer than we expected, but we couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen!

I had gotten a quote months before doing the work and then out of the blue called Ryan back. He rogered right up for our complete kitchen remodel, even though I was still working through the insurance claim and had a short window to actually get it all done. Since he had overbooked his team, Ryan personally did most of the work himself, meeting my tight timeline. We didn't have a fully designed project, so he took care of that, even accommodating for some significant changes late in the game including adding cabinets, removing a wall and putting in new floors throughout the house. While that change request sounds crazy expensive, instead of just tacking on $1000s, he looked at what he wasn't going to do instead and the price only increased slightly, a testament to the straight forwardness. I have seen other contractors who would have just added tons of money for not alot of work, not Ryan! Overall, the finished product is wonderful, high quality and exactly what the wife wanted, will and lots of value and attractiveness to our house for many many years! Hands down, I would recommend Ryan and Jackson's Custom to friends and family (and already have)!

From a thoughtful design stage to a flawless installation, Jackson Custom Builders demonstrated that they were highly proficient across a variety of important skills. We totally remodeled our kitchen and two full bathrooms, including a custom double vanity and we could not be more pleased with the results. The interior was completely painted as well and 7 inch molding was added. In a large project such as ours, adjustments to our plan needed to be made along the way. They provided great suggestions and the modifications were deftly handled. We found all the Jackson crew to be polite, personable and professional. They went about their business efficiently and were respectful of our home at all times. We would highly recommend them for any home construction project, large or small.

Mr. Jackson was very nice and very knowledgeable. He took measurements, made suggestions, etc. However, it took about 3 weeks to get the 3D drawing which was very basic and very little detail. He then asked if I would like to have it priced out and I said yes. Have never heard back from him. I think I would have liked to do business with him, but he never finished out the proposal.

Wonderful. The process and the experience was fantastic. We felt very confident in Jackson Custom Builders and every design detail we imagined came together perfectly. Their experience and knowledge shows in every detail while the workmanship is impecable. We received many quotations for our bathroom remodel and Jackson Custom Builders was our final choice. And we are glad we chose the right guys for the job. From the quote request to the finished product the communication from Mr. Jackson is top notch. Not something you have to often, if ever, with contractors in South Florida. He is always available by email and phone and answers very quickly. He also makes sure you get what you want. Always communicates choices and lets you know if something is not feasible. The finished product was exactly like I pictured in my head when I described to him my vision of our new bathroom. Mr. Jackson and his crew always made sure their work was cleaned up in the evening and we never came home to a mess. The Barn doors he made for the bathroom entry and walk in closet were matched with his custom mirror frame and our new wooden bed which really brings the whole package together and makes you feel like you have a master suite. He even removed the glass brick exterior wall and built a new wall with a window in the shower for natural light. All work was done with permits and inspections that passed with flying colors. the only drawback is waiting for the inspectors but that is out of everyone's hands. We will definitely be using his company again for the remodel works we will be doing in the future as well as many of our friends have said they wish to contract him for services after seeing our new bathroom.

Everything was fine and we are very happy with all of the results. After being traumatized by a Lowe's kitchen remodel and re-flooring about 4 years ago, we were a bit concerned, but all in all the project went very well. Ryan was very responsive to our eco-friendly requirements. Ryan was willing to work with the providers to get the products that met our needs.

This was a really big project. Ryan is easy to work with and has a lot of patience. We were never "put out" during this whole process. Some contractors that I met with wanted us to move out for a few weeks. Ryan was on the job pretty much everyday. He ran around getting samples of items that I wanted replaced and would find the right one until I agreed with the selection. He took care of everything. Ordering of front doors and installation, ordering of the appliances and installation. He brought me samples of flooring, cabinets, quartz, tile...he would keep looking until he found what I liked. I didn't like the crown molding that came with the cabinets and he removed it and found something that I liked. I added some items and he never complained. Overall they did a great job. The only complaint that I would have is that the painting could have been done better. This was a 4-5 month job. They would arrive on time and finished on schedule. Towards the end Ryan and I started "bickering" but it all worked out. He delivered every thing as promised. I think I was just done being in a renovation so I became a little difficult. Nothing against Ryan. I did want him to do my master bathroom but I never received a quote. I don't know if he forgot or didn't want to work with me anymore. It's hard to find reliable and honest contractors, Ryan is reliable and honest.

My experience with Jackson Builders was very pleasant. I bought an older condo that still had the original finishing when the building was built. I got several quotes before I mad my final decision to chose Jackson Custom Builders. Ryan came well prepared for our first meeting. He went into detail and explained everything in a way that I was able to understand. After the meeting I was eager to sign the contract and get started because I knew my kitchen would be in good hands. The job was supposed to take 6 weeks. We went over just a little due to the custom things that I wanted added. They installed wood floors which I LOVE. Originally I had envisioned something else, but with his eye for detail he showed me something that matched my kitchen a lot better. From start to finish the job was seamless. Anything that needed to be changed was communicated with me. His contract went over everything in full detail. If you have any home renovations I would defiantly say call Jackson Custom Builders. Everyone loves my kitchen and floors.

Let me start by saying I really wanted to write a good review. But after two months have passed with promises being undelivered on, no contact (returned calls or accepting calls) and the numerous problems we STILL have with the work done I cannot in good conscious do so write a positive review or recommend their work to anyone. I would also be weary of how they are trying to "spin" their bad reviews on here. I have had several other contractors look at their work and was told to get the word out - it is "unacceptable" in regards to my floors. The city (which I had to call to get the final inspection set up since they refused my calls) suggested I report them to the State License Board. First - the kitchen remodel. Overall this went sort of ok except for the huge delays (project took almost 3 times longer than quoted, majority of cabinet doors were damaged and finding replacements was near impossible - "my fault" because I didn't want shaker style). The work was performed fairly well but very, very slowly. The contractor would routinely be 30-90 minutes late every day. Multiple times we were promised for work milestones (appliances installed, amounts of work completed) that were overshot by several days or a week longer. There was some communication break downs and problems with choices made. Several aspects of the kitchen we are just having to deal with even though we are unhappy with them. The dishwasher still doesn't close correctly even though I asked for this to be fixed multiple times. There are other punch list issues I asked to be resolved, were promised they would be, and were never followed through on. Second - the bathroom remodel. It never got done. Another job came up and they went to do that - would only take "3 weeks". Knowing how long they took with the kitchen I thought ok maybe 6. They PROMISED several times they would get it done before Christmas. I worked with them several times on the timeline and was assured multiple time by both my contractor and the owner it would be completed by Christmas. Guess what - it wasn't - and NO APOLOGIES. Third - Installing my bamboo floors. THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE. Literally every time I walk across my floors my blood boils from how horrible this went. Every flooring guy/contractor and other people that visit ask, "what's wrong with your floors?" "was this the first floor they ever installed?" and my favorite, "was the guy blind who installed them?" My floors will have to completely ripped up and relaid due to their incompetency. When I questioned issues I was scolded by the owner of the company that I didn't know what I was talking about and he has been doing this for 35 years. When my husband questioned a large lump under one of the slats he was told it was "in his head" but lo and behold there was a PENCIL UNDER IT! Several boards had to be taken up and redone. The damage done to door frames and corners of the walls was not cool. The gaps in the corners are excessive and the board keep separating. They told me they were going to tighten it with a special tool - they never did. It is loosey goosey. THEY NEVER ONCE ADMITTED THEY WERE WRONG OR EVEN AN APOLOGY. The floors were also started 9 weeks after they were promised to be done. Surprise - another promise never fulfilled. They did come out and try to "fix" the separations but in some cases made it worse - and had they done it correctly the first time there would not have been so many issues. In all they were a disappointment and I regret that I cannot recommend them.
