I had just purchased (from a dealer) a very attractive pre-owned classic convertible that was about 98% perfect (to my untrained layman's eye). I wanted to get an estimate for having all the minor little nit-picks fixed. Many people had spoken highly of their work so I went to them. I met with the owners, Guy and Lori, who looked this car over in a detailed way beyond what I had asked for - meaning they investigated parts of the car that I had not even been suspicious about. They were both extremely knowledgeable. They found and showed me things that I never could have spotted that made it clear that even though this car had a perfect Carfax report it had been in more than one accident and had many body panels repaired and repainted. The verdict was that I had purchased a 'beautiful car' but only if I had paid about 75% of the price that I paid. They actually caused themselves to lose the opportunity to do all of my nit-pick corrections. With this knowledge, I was able to return the car during the small window of return policy that the dealer allowed! They saved my bacon and really showed me how ethical they are. That was a couple of years ago - fast forward to this past week which is what prompted me to write this review. I have an auto lease just ended and I was about to turn it in so I looked the car over very carefully and noticed a not-so-perfect alignment of the body panels between the front bumper cover and the front fender panel. Concerned that perhaps we had gotten tapped in a parking lot, I wanted to know what it might take to correct this. They pointed out to me that this model was notorious for having this manufacturing defect that was due to a weak support bracket that was unable to hold the weight of the front bumper cover tightly. Their body shop technician had actually worked for one of the same manufacturer's dealers and explained that this was extremely common on my model. This convinced me that these are people with integrity. I'm totally comfortable to highly recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Easy to get quote, and was told they would call when parts came in. Unfortunately, somehow that didn't happen so called in again a couple of week later. They had just filed the quote and apologized for the mix up. Took the car in at next scheduling opportunity, job was done. Paint job fine, noticed that the light wasn't quite as flush as it should be. They fixed the issue in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately, it turned out that there was a problem with the cost of the light fitting, it was several hundred $ more than expected. Obviously not happy about that but it seemed to be a genuine mistake from what was in their system. They were very apologetic.
A week later a $50 gift card arrived with a card again apologizing for the pricing issue. Overall, I think these a very genuine people who do a good job, I was just a little unfortunate with the scheduling and pricing issue. I felt good that they took the trouble to recognize it wasn't totally smooth. The quality of work is good and they take care of things in cases such as this when issues arise. I'd use them again.

My car was hit while parked and the other driver took off so I was left to find a repair shop and file an insurance claim. After reading some good reviews I decided to give Auto Works a try. The estimate went smoothly. After that it was downhill. I called to schedule the appointment and they said it would be nearly two weeks before I could bring it in. I mentioned that I was not driving the car, however I didn't have a rental so I would need this to be a quick repair. They estimated 3 days. No big deal, I can find a ride to work for a few days.
After a week passed and I had not heard any updates I called and spoke to Donna who had just returned from vacation. She was unhelpful at best. She could not give me any updates and said they were waiting on the insurance company to approve a supplement. I immediately called the insurance company who said they were waiting on the shop to provide photos and the supplement would be approved. Two days later I had to call again to follow up and Donna said they were still waiting on the supplement. Come to find out two more days had passed and they had not even sent the pictures in as requested. Her response was that they don't check their email that often. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? DON'T CHECK EMAIL THAT OFTEN? IN 2015?  At this point I was getting very frustrated, Donna put me on hold and I spoke to Lori who was not much better. She at least seemed to understand what was going on and said they would get the pictures sent over right away but gave the excuse that the insurance company was taking their time because they didn't have to pay for me to have a rental car?. An hour later I received an email from my insurance company that the supplement was approved and payment issued. I guess they sent the photos.
Now approaching two weeks I called the following Monday to see if my car was ready. Again Donna told me they were waiting for the supplement. Not good enough. It was approved Thursday and now it's Monday and they just realize it? Two more days wasted. I'm furious. I speak to the Owner, Guy who says the right things and assures me my car will be ready Wednesday. While this does not change the poor operation of his business, I arrange to come by after work to pick it up. When I arrive Wednesday (which is now 14 days after I dropped my car off for the 3 day repair) I find the paint looks good, but once I pop the hood I notice that there are several gouges and cuts in the new paint around where the grille fits into the bumper. It looked like someone tried to force it on while the paint was still wet. They also neglected to touch up a few paint chips on the door as promised 3 times (estimate, drop off, phone call). After pointing these issues out to Guy he apologizes and asks me what I want to do. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
I arrange to come back the next day and the chips were touched up and the gouges around the grille touched up, but you can still see where they were. Auto Works may have been a successful family run body shop for years but it seems that they just don't care anymore. Not to mention they squeezed an additional $680 out of my insurance company for a supplement when there was no additional damage found, claiming they didn't include paint blending. $680 in paint blending?? There are plenty of other shops in the area that want your business and will do a better job in a shorter period of time.

My garage door fell on the top of my car and they had the car ready for me in a week. They were nice and did a great job. I had no issues after they were finished. They have guarantee for as long as you own the car.

Took Hyundai Sonata to Auto Works with a authorization from Allstate for repairs. Guy, the owner, immediately noticed a dent Allstate didn't include. He called Allstate for a supplement to repair the additional damage. Auto Works did an excellent job with both paint and fitting the new bumper. As a courtesy to me, they also pulled out a dent on the side that wasn't covered by the claim. The car was returned to me clean and professionally repaired. Very pleasant people and good work. Have used them in the past but no need for them recently until now.

The owners of the shop were the people at the front desk who accesses the damage and what needed to be done to my car. They were able to get my car in right away and had it ready in less than a week. The painting people did not realize that the car did not have the original paint job, so the color they painted was a bit darker than the rest of the paint. The owners discovered it immediately, and gave me the option of them repainting it of reducing the repair cost.

They fixed my car after an accident. They did a fantastic job, dealt directly with the insurance company who had recommended them in the first place, and delivered as promised. The tow truck driver had told me, and quot;You just watch. Your car is going to come back better than new.and quot; He was almost right. It still had 67,000 miles on it! They were always available on the phone or even in person - my wife and I would show up every time we were in the neighborhood and they were nice enough to detail the progress on the car (the damage was substantial) and the next step, etc. They recommended excellent mechanics to me when, afterwards, I needed work. I trusted them enough to get their recommendations for other kinds of work as well. As we were new in the area, they also helped with places of interest to us. I would recommend them without batting an eye.
