Ashley Clear Pool Services

We only used the company for a month, it felt like we were chasing after them on a daily basis to get them to come clean weekly. We ultimately decided on changing companies and when notified we were canceling they sent us an additional charge. We inquired on why we were getting charged an additional $65 for a algae treatment, when we had already been charged $85, 3 weeks prior for algae treatment. To which "Eddie" the pool guy automatically began to threatened us stating he had cleared he was going to shock it again (which is not true). He called back twice screaming at the top of his lungs that he had to get paid. That he was sending the collection company. Mind you this company received a $400 payment August 6th of this month for routine cleaning. Our pool was not in bad condition. And now they expect to get paid additional $65 for a service we did not approve. Not only am I disappointed in the service but the lack of professionalism, and how rude they were on the phone. They deserve less then 1 star if possible. I highly advice you take your business elsewhere. Yelling, screaming and threatening is not how to run a business.

Very bad since about 1vyear

The service received by Ashleys Pool Service was excellent. I didnt have to worry about calling to make sure that they showed up on my scheduled day of service. The pool maintence was done properly and they told me whenever I needed something. They are very affordable, straight forward, and honest. It was very hard to find a reliable, and affordable pool service in coral springs but I was so please to find them.

I have been very pleased with Ashley Pool Service. They are very reliable and accommodating. Always willing to help in anyway needed. I highly recommend them. They do a great job.

It went reasonably well in the beginning although we were made to replace a filter (through them) that the home owner said he had replaced just a few months ago. Things got bad in the 8th month of service when the pump stopped working. The owner of the house (a general contractor) happened to be over and he looked at filter and pump and found them both dirty. He cleaned out the filter which he said has probably not been cleaned for weeks. There was little water left in the pump, and it was boiling hot. When he cleaned out the pump with the water hose, whatever came out was yellow and stank...and then the pool turned brown. A pro we called later identified the spots that remained afterwards on the pool floor as pool algae and confirmed the landlords theory that the pump had not been taken care of for an extended period of time. I emailed Sophia at Ashley Clear Pool Services, described the problem (with pictures), and said I would withhold the monthly service fee payment until they fixed it. Moments later the pool boy servicing our pool came over, took a look at the pool, and claimed that this was not his fault and asked for ADDITIONAL money to fix the problem HE caused. I refused and asked him to call the landlord and get his description of what he found. The pool boy arrogantly refused and left. I called Sophia, asked her to call the landlord for more information as I am not a technical person. She, too, refused. Since then they do neither answer my calls, not texts, nor email. I had to get somebody else in to fix the problem and avoid additional damage. The attached pictures show what came out into the pool when we restarted the pump. Do not deal with these people. They are arrogant and highly unprofessional.

George is great ?? and Sophia in Office is courteous and helpful.., I needed same day pool cleaning service when I bought my North Springs home recently and they fit me into the schedule on the day I called ...

They haven’t missed a cleaning yet, do a good job and give me solid advice when I need to pay attention to something. I’ve been with them over 2 years now and appreciate the consistency.

They were able to come out and turn my green pool blue. The price was more than reasonable when compared to other companies.

Excellent service! Always on time and thorough! Will always call if they feel they need to add anything to the service. Couldn't be happier with Ashley Clear Pool Services!

I hired them 1.5 months ago and the technician tried to sell me a new filter when the filter was only 3 months old. he kept adjusting the flow valves causing the auto magic pool cleaner to not run anymore. He also did not clean the pool filter causing the pump to overheat

Awesome ...job well done ....would definitely recommend services. Billing questions easily answered and responses are prompt. Very pleasant staff.

The company has been great, no hidden charges as I had with other companies I have dealt with in the past. Also when I have had repairs to my pool, or replacement of my deck they have worked with me to ensure my pool was spotless upon it returning to service. I work with Sophia and she always returns calls, or calls ahead of time for notification if they find issues. They found my pool was leaking water and called me to inform me at one point as well as ensuring I know any changes ahead of time, unlike other companies I have dealt with where things are just a surprise both on the pricing side of things, and problems with my pool. Also the technician that comes out to work on our pool is very nice, and courteous about parking and a pleasure to interact with.

We were looking for a new pool service company after a bad experience with our provider. We found Ashley Clear on Angie's List and gave them a try. They were responsive and began servicing our pool weekly. They have been taking care of our pool for a little over a year and we have not had a single problem. They show up like clock work every single week, clean out all the leaves from the pump (our pool is not screened in), and actually scrub the pool to clean what our vacuum misses.

we switched pool service providers as i was unhappy with my former one for being so unresponsive to phone calls even when we were having a major pool leak that required 2 hours a day of filling with water.  once they repaired it, i switched immediately and so far it has only been about 2 months but i am very pleased.  they gave me a quote immediately on the phone the first time i called based on my size pool, and in addition, followed up with phone calls to see if i was happy with their service.  this is what a true business should run like.

I purchased a 3 month weekly service which started May 6, 2015. Ashley has done a quality job weekly since the first visit.

I had a pool light that was fused or not working.
I called Ashley asking if he knew anyone who could help me.
He sent me a guy who charged me $120 to come and replace the bulb.
The bulb was replaced and was working properly but within a few weeks the whole light came out of the socket and was now dangling in the pool , with the electric wire connected to the wall.
I called Ashley, to send the guy to see whats going on,  the guy came back again and was very rude and was using the F word frequently about the pool and was just a bad energy experience.
Anyway, so far so good I was patient and did not engage the guy in any other argument.
Now after another few days the light started getting full of water to the point that it was all filled with water.
I had to call Ashley again to see whats going on ? 
Ashley sent the same guy again and charged me $120 again, plus on top of that he abused me and my pool and blamed every thing on the chemical levels in the pool that is being maintained by Ashley, I am not sure how the light coming out of the socket and then getting filled up with water has anything to do with the chemical levels.
Furthermore , all this took ONE MONTH. I had to call Ashley almost every other day to send the guy.
One of the worst experiences I have had.
I called Ashley as to why I have to pay for the labor fees when the light should have been fixed properly the first time?
His reply was, either you take this or you let the light hanging out .
EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.
Other then the above experience, the pool always had very high chemical levels to the point that the eyes would burn .
