- When service is scheduled and a service time window provided, they arrive a few minutes early!
- Anyone working in your home or business takes the time to put shoe covers on, protect items around the work area, and clean the wok area prior to leaving.
- One of our favorites - the same service technician completes any service calls. This is great because they know your system and any quirks it may have.
- They are very thorough. If anything found requires attention, they review all the options with you. They do not pressure the customer to do anything they do not want to do.
- They let the customer watch them work and take the time to answer and explain any questions and/or concerns.
- They have many long-term employees which indicates to us they care not only about their customers but also about the people who work for them.
- We chuckle whenever we call: "It's a great day at Art Plumbing. How can I help you?" This really sets a positive tone.
- With regards to the professionalism and honesty displayed by all employees, if the situation ever arose where we were not available to be home the entire time of the service call, we would have no qualms running an errand or two, leaving them in our home alone.
After living in South Florida for almost ten years, Art Plumbing & Air Conditioning is our favorite and most trusted service provider.
My condo was leaking into the downstairs neighbor's ceiling and I called them out to find the problem and fix it. The guy claimed he filled the tub up and didn't see a leak there, but suspected the on/off valves were the issues since they didn't have sealant around them. He cut open the drywall on the other side of the wall to inspect the plumbing there which was an additional $266 just to cut open the wall and WITHOUT FIXING THE WALL EITHER. Like i said earlier, he claimed he filled the tub up and splashed water around, but couldn't see it leaking. I specifically asked him to fill it BEYOND the overflow drain valve to make sure that wasn't the issue, as i strongly suspect, and he said he did that, but didn't see any problems there. All in all, he said he didn't see any leaks anywhere, but suspected it was an issue with the valves not being sealed and would cost $40 just to put caulk on there! The service call alone was already $90. I wasn't on the property and couldn't look myself at that moment and trust them to fix it.
Weeks later when the tub was used again, the leak occurred again. This time I was available to observe and find a fix myself. The overflow drain valve, as i strongly suggested to the plumber, was the issue. I didn't bother calling them as over 4 weeks had passed since they last came out and don't have money to throw around carelessly. I suspect they would have said it's a new issue and would have charged me close to another couple hundred dollars (services call, parts and labor).
$400 down the drain.
By the way, if you see reviews of a company and they are ALL 5 stars, one should be very suspicious. If the reviews all have the same tone of "the company is great, the company is real good and compliments galore", then I believe they are likely fake reviews which are illegal and the company can be fined for posting fake reviews or buying fake reviews services. If there are actual details of unique stories, then they likely would be real. do your homework.
- the cost was just labor totally way overpriced.
