Advanced Painting Systems

Use caution when dealing with this company! The project started out well, they were able to begin the project rather quickly, the crew showed up on time and was prompt every day, and were very efficient with their jobs. Jobs. The problem came at the end of the project when I failed to notice one particular problem had not been resolved. As promised during the final walkthrough. I didn't notice the issue until after the crew had packed up and left. The following day when Marcos jr. called, I told him about the issue and he said that they would come back and fix it, no problem and asked that I send him a couple of pictures of the issue. Being reassured by that, I unfortunately went ahead and gave him the final payment that day. That was a little over a month ago and after repeated calls, voicemails, and text messages, I'm getting no response from the company whatsoever. Overall the work was done well, and the crew handled things very professionally. But the failure to circle back to someone with a problem is unacceptable. If you do go with this company, just be very thorough in your walk through and make sure that everything is resolved before you pay them, otherwise you probably won't hear from them again!!

This was an exceptional experience. The owner and all of his workers were extremely professional, experienced, neat and efficient, prompt and extremely accommodating. The job was finished on time and the house looks fantastic. The team went above and beyond to please. It is very hard to find responsible, good companies in South Florida and we definitely lucked out. We absolutely recommend this company to anyone considering having their home painted and we will use them again for future projects.

The two gentleman who painted were an efficient team. They did an excellent job prepping the house and some stucco that needed to be repaired. The paint and trim looked excellent as well as the balcony railings. They were on time both mornings and worked very hard. I was extremely impressed. They even took pictures of tiles on my roof that needed to be repaired that they noticed. Marcos Ferreira, the owner of Advanced Painting had come out to give me the initial estimate and did a follow up before his team left to ensure I was completely satisfied with the work. Everyone was so friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Advanced Painting Systems to anyone looking for interior or exterior work.

He is pleasant at first when he is here to give you the estimate then you'd be lucky if he ever returned your calls. He contracted the job out to two guys who did not show up when they were supposed to and when they were done, they didn't clean up. I would not use him again EVER. I think he is still in business only because of the ads in the magazines.

Good price, charming salesman. Poor communication between salesman/owner and workers. Quick but not quality.Promised and charged for two coats of paint, they only put on one. When asked crew said only one was needed. Painted over screws in walls which were supposed to be removed and filled. When asked they said most people wanted them to stay even though it was obvious we had just moved in. Didn't cover the fixtures or floor in bathroom, still scraping paint off floor. I felt like the job supervisor. Will not use them again,

I had used this contractor about ten years earlier and was satisfied. I requested and accepted his very competitive quote. He was very competitive with others I requested. He showed on time, did not take a break (except for lunch) until the end of the day. He was very professional and neat. He was highly skilled at 'cutting' a very sharp paint line. He moved or covered everything that could be soiled. Nothing was damaged. I highly recommend Marcos and Advanced Painting Systems.

As a licensed general contractor (CGC1506048) - the overall experience was frustration and disappointment. We received a local business advertisement and my wife called them in addition to my (2) other standard painters I use. They met with her and she really liked them. The owner Marcos met me at the property and I agreed to try them out. We agreed to a decent turn-key price and then the bottom dropped out. Two painters (only) blew through a 3800SF house in less than 4 days. They short coated almost every room, splashed paint all over the new wood floors, and did one of the worst paint jobs I've ever seen. They spent several days, back and forth, "trying" to touch up and correct the wall surfaces. Even after I spent 4 hours going around with blue painters tape marking the necessary touchup areas. Eventually I paid them in full and just wanted them to leave. I spent the next 3 weeks fixing the mess.

Advanced Painting System was on time every day. They were at my front door at 8:00 in the morning just like they said they would be. Any issues that came up I had no problem telling them and they happily cleaned up any problem areas. There were a couple of spots that I asked to have redone and they were happy to redo those areas.

After some false starts when twice a crew failed to show up on a Sunday when promised, the company did a good job with the work. They apologized profusely for their crew's failure to appear.

Great job, concientious employees, neat and reasonable price. The job was what you would expect if you had the skills of being a painter and did it yourself.

THEY ARE OKAY. THERE WERE A FEW PROBLEM AREAS THAT I NOTICED, BECAUSE THEY WERE RUSHING THROUGH IT. IT WAS A FINE EXPERIENCE THOUGH AND I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. OVERALL IT WAS GOOD.
