I hired Okrebama to do a renovation on my house. It was an
extensive job involving all the trades like concrete work, roofing, framing and
drywall, windows and doors, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tile work, flooring,
etc. I was a little hesitant in working with them since I had not heard of them
before in South Florida. After speaking with Octavio on the phone he came out
and gave me a thorough presentation and explained his background to me. The guy
is from NYC and was a head engineer building the Freedom Tower for 6 years after
the 9-11 terrorist attacks. Needless to say, if he was an engineer on that
project, I was pretty sure he was capable of a residential home type of job! He
did not disappoint. It is a small family run business with father and son, both
engineers, on site and overseeing the job. He explained he left NYC because he
wanted to start his own company and not work for anyone else. He has been in
business down here a few years and done a lot of work both commercial and
residential down in Florida. Their guys were professional and on time and
cleaned up and they completed the job ahead of schedule. They had a couple
issues and instead of sweeping them under the rug, they brought it to my
attention and we discussed things and found solutions. I loved that honesty and
transparency. He actually gave me a refund at the end of the job because he had
purchased too much in the way of materials and was able to return some and in
turn gave me that money back. How many contractors would do that? I would give
them 5 out of 5 starts for the following key areas; Highly skilled and
excellent workmanship, efficient and on time, clean up with no mess left behind,
good pricing and most important total integrity. Thanks Octavio and I hope this
recommendation gets you a lot more work as you certainly earned it.
