Excellent! I contacted Dorothea on May 28th with a challenge. Help me find a home quickly because I wanted to move within 60 days. Well, I thought it was a challenge. Dorothea breezed through it. We spoke and she heard my likes and dislikes. She was ready with several houses. She had questions for the seller that I had not thought of. She presented the pros and cons for each house. She is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the real estate field. It was a fast and stress free transaction. Loving my home.

My son was ready to buy his first place, but didn't know any real estate agents. Someone whose opinion I trust referred me to Dorothea, and I in turn referred her to my son. She is very experienced in the field of real estate, and it was a real pleasure for my son to work with her. I recommended Dorothea to my brother when he was interested in selling his house in Hollywood, Florida.  I worked with Dorothea to rent a property in Hollywood a year ago and thought she would be perfect to handle the sale of the house for my brother.
Dorothea evaluated the condition of the house and came up with a recommended sales price.  The house was listed with her and she made sure the house was advertised through the MLS, including a number of internet sites.  She soon had a number of prospects and began showing the house and working with potential buyers and their Realtors.

We have a rental property in Hollywood, Florida.  The tenant was moving out and we wanted to hire a real estate agent to rent the property.  Since we live in a city hours away from Hollywood, we needed a realtor with exceptional skills.  We wanted to hire someone with experience, ability to screen prospective renters, contacts with local contractors to do repairs, price the property, market the property, and advise us on points that should be included in the lease to protect us.
We contacted a number of real estate agents in the Hollywood area by phone, some listed on Angie's List.  From the first time we talked with Dorothea, we were impressed with her knowledge of the real estate and rental industry.  She was willing to share her expertise before we signed a leasing agreement including her contacts with local contractors.  She was very patient with our many questions.  After a number of discussions with her about the scope of the help we needed, we were happy and relieved to have found a person with Dorothea's skills.
Dorothea's contacts with contractors were invaluable since the previous renters left the property in a condition that required cleaning, repairs, and changes to some appliances before it could be rented.  Dorothea had the relationships with honest, hard-working, reasonably priced contractors to make the changes needed to get the property ready to rent and back on the market in a minimum of time.  Dorothea  made sure the contractors performed the work that was expected.
Dorothea made sure the house was listed on the internet.  The listing on the internet included descriptions and pictures that accurately represented the house before a future tenant visited the house in person.  Dorothea also did a great job of researching and then suggesting a monthly rent that was marketable for that area.
Renting the house to a qualified person requires time to check backgrounds, including financial and employment information.  We were so happy that Dorothea was willing to interview prospective renters, evaluate the worthiness of the prospect, and then consult with us on whether to enter into a lease with a new tenant.  She was very thorough in screening prospects.  Dorothea interviewed a number of prospective tenants before we all decided on the one we were willing to enter into an agreement.  Dorothea made a number of suggestions to add to the lease to make sure the client would pay on time, would maintain the property, and be a good overall tenant.
We felt that Dorothea handled the property as if it were her own home she was renting.  All of her suggestions for changes made the house better for both the owners and the renters.  We were so pleased to work with someone with her experience, her business ethics, and her caring attitude.
We recommend Dorothea to everyone that wants to work with a real estate agent that provides great service, experience, and trusted counsel on renting or selling a house.

We looked at a lot of places, and I almost gave up. With Dorothea's persistence, I found the perfect place and I can't wait to move in!

Other than the aforementioned "bumps" and snails pace of the short sale, as well as the unbelievably intrusive demands by the bank granting the mortgage, Dorothea did everything she could to expedite this process. She was accessible, tenacious, responsive, sympathetic, warm, creative, professional and every other adjective appropriate to describing a lovely lady who truly cares about satisfying her clients. She knows the area, has wonderful interpersonal skills, and is also helpful with referrals for other services, if asked (movers, painters, cleaning, etc.) She was just great and by the end, she did feel like family.
