Nolasco Designs

I am the person who made the previous review on AL. Unlike the first time I used Nolasco Designs, I will not be hiring them again. The lead person, Marlon, failed to show up on many occasions and let his workers take charge of the job. My instructions were not followed exactly and unlike last time, Nolasco design decided to take short cuts like cutting tile around my master bedroom closet unit vs. removing the closet unit and installing a complete floor as was paid for. Nolasco designs removed 25% of my master bedroom closet and 75% was cut around the closet unit. If anyone ever removes the closet unit, they will be left with a jigsaw puzzle of floor tiles. The closet now is also 2 separate heights, one where Nolsaco designs did a proper job and another height where the short cut was made. Not only that, Nolasco designs bent one of the closet units so it would fit one of their poor cuts. So now my closet unit is bowed at the bottom. There was a complete lack of focus when using the metal strips. Many metal strips failed to be in a straight line and gaps are present. Wall tiles were cut at different widths and an excessive use of grout was used to hide the poor cuts. I also had a plumbing issue with the master bath tub he installed. Upon trying to get the owner, Marlon, back out to the property to address the issue, he made up excuse after excuse. After months of trying, it's obvious he doesn't need my business. I have only spent more than $30k with him in the last year. Tile installers are a dime a dozen and this guy ain't getting another dime from me.

Out of all the contractors who recently worked on my current home, Nolasco Designs ranked amongst the best in terms of quality and punctuality.  They showed up every day on time for weeks on end and stayed till the last working hour my community allows.  Only my drywall contractors gave me this effort.  All the other contractors came and go as they pleased.  Anyone who sees their work comments what a great job they did.  They converted 2 bathrooms with tubs to walk-in showers.  All 4 baths were completely demoed and the tile work was great.  Most importantly, they have extremely competitive pricing for the quality they offer.  Marlon is very responsive via email, text and phone.  I will definitely use them again
