All went well, they can gave me an estimate and date for installation and on the day they we ready to work.

The owner showed up at the agreed upon time.  He was very knowledgeable and had all of the answers to the issues that my home presented.  They completed the job in a timely manner.  I was very happy with the results.  I would use this provider again.

Charlie and JT came to my house and gave me a written estimate to install new gutters (as indicated in the work description above). Their price was better than the two others I had solicited from their competitors, and they seemed to be a likeable and trustworthy pair, so I gave them the job. They returned at the agreed-upon hour and date and completed their work within a couple of hours. Note that their price did not include removing my old gutters, a chore which I did myself (and later regretted not paying them to do). They did a satisfactory job of installing my new gutters, but I wondered at the time whether they had the appropriate tools for the work as I watched JT drive spikes into my facia with the flat side of a hammer head. I think it's a small miracle that the gutters didn't suffer any damage during that process. On the other hand, I discovered recently that the back sides of the gutters (the sides facing the facia) are not straight and flat - they're bowed and wavy (whereas my old ones were straight). My hunch is that driving the spikes in the manner in which they did caused or contributed to that, though I can't say for certain. The only real problem I had with these guys was that they didn't do the job as I had asked them to. They put one of my downspouts in the wrong location, despite the fact that I had told them during the estimating process where I wanted that particular gutter placed. Rather than have them remove and replace that gutter, I decided to live with their mistake. My advice would be to review with them the work to be performed on the day they show up to do it, just to be sure they didn't forget what you told them earlier. All that said, I'd hire Watertite again.
