TIM SANDERS ROOFING

he was always available before getting paid but wouldn't take my calls when i needed a certification for my home owners insurance. my agent sent him the form and he didn't reply and started ghosting her as well. he overcharged me for the roof he did according to other estimates of costs i looked at. but when i told him that he said, yes but we'll be married for as long as the roof lasts. we'll the marriage didn't last very long when i needed something from him.

they did a great job! showed up when they said they would be there. Very professional. Did a thorough job cleaning up and making sure that no nails were left on the ground. the new roof makes such a difference in the overall look of the house.

The job was done in a very timely manner. He was very polite and helpful. He went out of his way to help me on a few other things I was doing on the house at no charge.

I am amazed this person is still in business.  I had my whole roof replaced.  About four years later, State farm wanted to know when, so I could perhaps recieve a discount.  I couldn't find my reciept (my husband died, and I had so much to deal with.)  I called and called, until I finally got Tim Sanders on the phone.  I asked him if he could help me and he actually told me he didn't keep reciepts, and couldn't help me!  I must say, I was stunned by this answer and am ashamed I didn't respond, but I just prayed I would find the receipt on my own. 
  Earlier this year, I hired a great company (Angies List) to re-do the soffets (sp?) and they told me there were soft spots on my roof and I should be careful.  As my roof was still under warranty, I called Tim Sanders.  I called every day or so for three weeks.  Finally Mr. Sanders answered and told me he was sorry; he had been away for vacation.  I explained the situation, and he asked me who had told me that my roof was soft.  I told him I didn't feel comfortable telling him.  Then, he told me he used a new composite that had some give to it, but was actually stronger than the old fashioned materials used before.  I asked him to come look anyway and let me know what he thought.  Nothing.

I recently had major construction, and guess what.  Major leaking right where the roof was soft.  I called Mrs. Sanders for more than a week.  Nothing.  Even though my roof is still under warranty I had to pay another company over $5,000.00 to fix that part of the roof in able to finish their job and not ruin what was already done!  
Do you want to know the irony here?  I thought Tim Sanders was great!  I told everyone I could about him and recommended him so highly!  I feel like a fool.  Run from this man!

He is a good roofer. He did first class work. I inspected the roof myself and he did a real fine job. I would highly recommend him.

One of his workers came out to do my roof in 2000. It was not Mr. Sanders. I never spoke to or saw Mr. Sanders. The person who came to redo my roof, (Dave), gave me a written paper signed by him, saying that the vents on the roof had to be re-calked every four years to keep the warranty in tact. When Dave came out in 2008, he was going to calk the vents but was unable to unfinish the job, which is why he wrote the paper stating that he was going to come back the following day which is why I had him write the paper keeping the contract valid. Dave did not come back the following day. Also, when the work was completed in 2000, Dave never sent in the paperwork to the building inspector to have the roof inspected. When I questioned Dave about my roof being inspected by a building inspector, he said the roof was filed administratively which was fine. I called City Hall and questioned them about the roof being filed administratively. City Hall said that if it was filed administratively, it means that the roof was never re-roofed and the building inspector never inspected it. so when I finally got Mr. Sanders to come out in reference to him re-calking my roof, he came out and got on my roof for 45 seconds, while his truck was still running, and then got off and said that there was notjhing wrong with the roof. I showed him the note that his worker Dave had signed about not being able to finish the roof back ion 2008. and he was going to return the next day in order to keep the warrenty valid, however he had no intentions of doing it that day and left. I have not heard from him again. I still have no calking around my new hot water heater vent. I have tried calling Mr. Sanders again and he hangs up on me. The warranty is only good for 14 years. When the roof was originally done, by the time the roof was done, there were 16 extra bundles which Dave intended to take back to Sanders warehouse yet I had paid for them. They put the extra singles in  my garage since I had paid for them.

I don't know what good the warranty is if when you call, they just hang up on you or come out to the house, they do nothing but scream at you.

Our area had very high winds and we lost  a few shingles.  Mr. Sanders said he had 75 phone calls within just two days but he came out and check our roof in a timely manner.  He also came out on a Sunday before he did our roof just to make sure it was not leaking and he said he would put a tarp over it if it started to rain.  I felt confident that he was treating our roof the way he would treat his own.

Work was completed as scheduled and cleanup was complete.

I had 6 estimates and they were the best price for the best quality materials. They did a great job and cleaned everything up. They were courteous, on time, and reliable. Good people to work with and they were honest.

He did the work at a nice price. They were supposed to check the yard for nails. My yard people kept getting nails in their shoes. I have been going around and picking them up myself for a week. I have called him and sent him letters and he hasn't got back to me.
