Lawn Ranger owner Scott Green has the worest business ethics I have ever seen. Greed is not a grand look on company ethics. On November 22 2024 my brother in law Micheal Oliver was removed from life support.. He had a verbal agreement with this company for lawn service since 2014, this was verbal not written which was a month to month. My niece was dealing with the loss of her father, on December 3rd she received a call from a woman representative for Lawn Ranger. I was there with my neice during the WHOLE conversation as she was on speaker. This "emplyee" had NO empathy in regards to her loss. She stated that November payment was past due and now December payment was due. She then berated my niece for not informing the company about the death of her father. That "THEY" had to hear about it from a neighbor. The lady then stated that the billing cycle had already posted for December and it was due also My neice stated that their service was no longer need. At this point NO service has been done for December. My neice was told that since the payments post's on the first of the month , she was required to make that payment also. My niece is now 11 days into the grieving process. She made payment for November as it was a true charge. The harassment from this company began a few days later in the form of phone calls back to back, if not from Mr Green it was his employee and verbal threats of placing a lein againnst the estate. The Mr Green had gone to her fathers home and told neighbors about non payment and harassmed an employee of the realtor doing work. Then on December 17th the lawn was "serviced" after being told that it was no longer required on December 3rd. Interesting that 14 days later Mr Green states he did a service. These company has not allowed my niece to grieve for her father due to continued harassment. A lein was filed on February against a still grieving child for a service that was not requested in the month of December for a 115$ payment. NOW Mr Green wants a total of 675$ with 18% interest a year. For a suposed non payment of 115$ On services that were terminated December 3rd 2024. Their excuse is that it was already billed for December so there for it has to be payed even though no service was done. Your accounting shoud have pulled the payment back Mr. Green, i strongly sugjust finding skilled payment intake employee who know how to do book keeping. OR better yet learn it yourself. Many appts can do that for you. I owned a business and NEVER would I have treated a client in this manor. My question is WHY did your company do "lawn service" on December 17th 2024? Where was the service for December 10th, 24th or even the 30th. Isnt 115 for 1 cut alot? My lawn care comes once a week and my yard is twice the size as Mr Olivers. Greed motivation? I pray if you are an existing, new or planing to be a customer doing business with Mr Scott, I 1hope no one in your family passes away because harassment is all you will get. They NEVER offered condolences for a customer of 14 years. Karma x3 is heading your way Mr. Scott Green.
