Overhead Door Company Of Brevard

My garage door was replaced by Overhead Door 4/8/2011 and recently due to a new roof (4/2016)and based on a new wind mitigation inspection it was brought to my attention that I needed to have the top (window) panel replaced on the garage door to increase the rating on the wind mitigation. As I was shopping around for either a panel to install or a new panel I contacted a few garage door companies and response was that the panel was not available. During my estimate with another company I was informed that they could not replace the panel that the door did not meet code since 2006. This is a problem as a lifetime Florida resident, and Overhead Door had informed me they were not in code when I had the panels replaced I would have not authorize the use of non-code replacement panels. The replacement panels were not to code in 2006 they were not in code in 2011 and as we head into another Hurricane season this is a problem. I can assure you, I would have told Overhead Door not to install these panels if I had known or been told that these panels did not meet Industry and Building code specifications. The Manager and Overhead Door has taken a position that they will not provide a refund and to bring to code that I would have to pay the difference. I have had another Company install a CODE. I would not use this company or ALLIED door that is another of the companies associated

Replaced double and single garage doors. Good quality product, good installation, good clean up.

Date of service is inaccurate. I don't recall the exact date. Service was provided many months ago. The garage door and the installation were flawless. I am very, very happy with this garage door company and recommend them in the highest possible terms. After many months of use, this door and the opener continues to operate perfectly.

Technician was very polite and did what was asked of him. I had the garage door controls fixed before labor day by this company. When we came back from the labor day week end one of the remotes did not work. It was sticking. I called the office and asked if the serviceman could return to fix the problem and I was told that since the garage door opened and closed before he left this was a new issue and even though he was out 5 days ago it would be a new service call and I would be charged $70.00 again. There is no warranty for their work. The woman who answered the phone said that the technician would call me and he never did. Bad support for the product and no warranty for work performed. I am hoping that there is another company in this town that can work with the Over Head door system.

Technician was exactly on time. He explained in terms I could understand about what caused the problem. He had all necessary parts in his service van. The price he charged was the same as I had been quoted over the phone. This companyalso does service calls on week-ends at no extra charge.

The worker assertained that the main coil/spring had broken. He carried replacements in his truck and was able to complete the job within an hour. The worker was very professional, complete in his work and responsive to us.
