Since 1989 we have created beautiful interiors as unique and individual as our clients.We are willing and even encourage integrating existing pieces with newly acquired furnishings and accessories.The initial consultation is complementary at our studio located in beautiful historic downtown Cocoa Village.Since each project is unique,pricing varies.We strive to accommodate everyone's budget,to create a lovely interior.

We offer a wide variety of services:full turn key for seasonal residents, one room at a time, or perhaps a few new accessories.We work with reliable well qualified General Contractors if remodeling is needed.We are willing to create your designs dreams on your budget......We are also a member of the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce .

Michael did a complete renovation of my 35-year-old condo and the results were spectacular. The tradesmen he used were topnotch and the job went very smoothly overall. Michael was able to completely transform the look and feel of the place, while making it look like something I would have done myself if I had the talent and expertise. He knows a great deal about fabric, color, finishes and furniture, and what is going to work for you. Although I doubted some of his choices in the beginning, I quickly learned he is always right! Could not be happier! Thanks, Michael!!!

Along with this "window" project, Michael evaluated other rooms in our home. He offered his opinion but honored and listened to what I thought appropriate for different areas. My field of expertise is in the medical world but I know what feels right for me visually, esthetically. Michael was able to pick up on these personal tendencies towards a "particular" style and offer ideas that felt exactly "right". I am so happy to have him help me with all these details. He has many resources to make these "ideas" come to life. I recommend him highly for anyone wanting an excellent designer.

This was the first time I had hired a professional designer to work in my home, and I chose Michael Gainey Signature Designs based in part on good reviews from his clients on Angie's List. In our first meeting in his studio to discuss the project, Michael grasped exactly what we were trying to accomplish and we connected with him right away. A second meeting followed at our home to view the existing space. He brought the flooring guy and the contractor who would work on our project. Michael had already selected some samples of hardwood flooring for us to look at, and some fabrics for the window treatments. Although we had not thought of changing our existing arched entryways, Michael suggested that doing so and framing the new openings with woodwork casements would provide a more dramatic entrance and would give us the feeling of an "Old Florida" home. He was absolutely right, and we love the new look. This was one advantage of hiring a professional designer who could look at our home and see the potential we were struggling to bring out. Michael was also very good at identifying those pieces of our existing furniture and accessories that he could work with in the new design. Although we purchased rugs and furniture from him, at no time did he pressure us to do or buy anything we didn't want to. I had some reservations along the way with his choice of window treatments and upholstery fabrics, and he was very patient with me until we reached a level of satisfaction. Michael was very good at staying in touch with us by phone, text, and e-mail. He was always prompt for our meetings. Our desire was to have a design that reflected our interests in nature, and our beautiful setting on the Indian River Lagoon. We were not looking for a beachy vibe or Key West colors, but that Old Florida look and design elements that connected our room to the river view outside. Our new room is just beautiful and reflects our personalities and interests. I felt throughout the project that Michael was truly interested in giving us what we wanted, and did not try to force us into some trendy design. Other than the initial $500 design fee, we did not pay any additional fees for Michael's services because we ordered enough furnishings through him. We paid the flooring and contractor's work to those providers directly. Michael Gainey was a pleasure to work with.

Michael did a fantastic job in coordinating the furniture, draperies, and other household furnishings in our new house. He also did a great job in selecting locations for our art work and hung them quickly and perfectly. We are very pleased with the results and Michael was a pleasure to work with.

I called Michael Gainey Signature Designs after searching for help, on Angie's List, with and quot;organizingand quot; my home. I just moved in and needed help hanging pictures, organizing my furniture, and arranging ALL my nic nac's. Michael was prompt for our first meeting to discuss the work. He was also prompt on both days of the job. He, his son, and nephew are lovely to work with and so good at what they do. A great eye(s)! I am so pleased with the results as is my husband. There isn't a category available that would give due justice to Michael Gainey! My and quot;design dilemmaand quot; was a small task and I was hesitant to use this type service for such a small update to my home. Well, fortunately for me, I was wrong. When I phoned Michael to ask for his assistance, he could not have been more accommodating. His contagious enthusiasm, apparent knowledge and design experience was exactly what I needed. Together, we came up with a plan and I absolutely love the results. I'm excited and look forward to making further improvements with his help. I have used other designers in the past; honestly, there's no comparison. I am excited to say that Michael is now under and quot;favoritesand quot; in my phone forever!

Michael's initial fee is $500 and he is currently in process of transforming our home into a Caribbean paradise. Michael is a true professional and his idea's are outstanding. He truly listens to your thoughts and understands exactly what you need without forcing you to over buy. We love Michael and are so happy we have chosen him. His idea's are so creative and beautiful.
