i'm concerned about the white patches all over the bottom and stairs. Underneath those patches of white are the pretty blue specs that will (according to the company) apparently replace the white streaks over time with proper chemical levels and brushing. They came back to check it out a couple months ago (the same day I called - very prompt) and the one guy was trying to scrape it up on the stairs with a blade. He said again that this is part of the finish that will eventually be replaced by the blue specs underneath. The resurface took place in April and it is now almost July. The white streaks and patches are still quite prevalent. It doesn't look very nice or the way that I had imagined the finished product. How long does it take? A year?

Work was done carefully, correctly, and completely. Workmen arrived on the scheduled date and completed the project within the scheduled time. The quality of the finished work was very good.

Estimate was given promptly.  Work started and finished as promised.  Results were much better than expected.  Had additional work done to the waterfall that exceeded my expectations.  Highly recommend this family run company.

Let me start by saying they were very nice people, always returned my calls and when they said they would be there they were, We had the pool floor refinished and new tile put in all around to include the steps, and also had the deck worked.

The tile install was very good and they chipped out all the old surface that they knew would not allow the new surface material to bond to, the prep work was very good, and they pulled the light and reworked it to include the seal and replaced the bulb and as yet has not leaked and I don?t think it ever will, so outstanding.

Unfortunately  the resurface of the inside pool area has some imperfections after all was done on the stairs and it is just something I finely figure were just going to have to live with, they came out a few times to see if they could fix it , but there still there and well that is that.

The deck was repainted and cracks fixed and I understand solid cement slabs in Florida crack they always do in time, it is just Florida and how the ground acts with even the thickest of concrete things still shift. They came out to fix cracks a few times and repaint the areas they worked the cracks. The crack filler is already flaking out and the cracks are once again visible in this area. In the past when we had the deck redone buy another company it was a year or longer before we saw any crack come back but with this just weeks.

So in closing, again nice people even gave us a military discount and again responsive to our calls, family business local everything we love to support in our community, but I am sorry we cannot recommend them.

Sally came out  & gave us an estimate, which was the amount we paid.  They were delayed a day due to the weather.  But they were here when they said they'd be here.  They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves daily.  Our neighbor (who is familiar with pools) was very impressed with their work & told my husband that they did it right, undercutting around the tile in order to get a better finish.  The workers did an excellent job & we would use them again & recommend them to others.

Resurfaced pool. Gave detailed instructions for care and maintenence. Work start date delayed due to rain. Sometimes had to chase follow up with a couple of calls, but overall very happy. They were always happy to answer questions (there have been a fair amount!) and helpful with all phases of remodel of pool. Can't wait to use pool next season.

I initially contacted McRoberts Pool Finishing by phone after they were recommended to me by a few different pool contractors who did not work as far north in the county as we are. I set up an appointment to get an estimate a few days later. They showed up right on time, asked exactly what I needed to have done, explained the process to me, said it was a 2 to 3 day job and wrote an estimate. As it was a reasonable estimate, I called that day and scheduled them to do the job the following week.
On the day they were to start the job, they arrived on time, ready and prepared to begin the job. The men that arrived to do the work went over the process, again explaining how it was to be done. During this, they asked why there was a short concrete block on the top step. I told them it was because my Mom had a hard time getting in and out of the pool with the steep drop between the deck and the first step. They said they could concrete that in, put tiles around the edges to match the steps and make it a permanent part of the steps. I asked about any additional cost for having that done and they said it would be done free of charge. The job was completed in the 3 days as was promised. Each day they arrived on time, and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. When the pool was finished, the charge was exactly what the estimate quoted. They put a hose in the pool to begin filling it and said to run the pump continuously and they would be back in 2 days to put the initial chemicals in and teach me about the care and maintenance of the new finish to make it last as long as possible. We set a time for him to come out and he showed up on time. He put in the chemicals, showed me what to do, gave me a printed copy of those directions and made certain I had the number I could call with any additional questions. Over the next few weeks I called on two different occasions to get advice and they were happy to help me. During the entire process from initial contact to my last phone call weeks later for advice, everyone I spoke with both on the phone and in person was courteous, professional and friendly. They did and outstanding job on our pool. It looks brand new. They are a family business and it is apparent in the job they did that they care about the quality of their work. They are also very reasonably priced. I would absolutely call them for any other work on our pool and recommend them highly to anyone else needing these types of services.

Had to drain pool, sandblast, prep surface, apply new surface. Great job. Timely and professional. Clean and kept work area clean. Cost reasonable for work done.

The weekly pool service is excellent. My pool is kept in excellent working order, always ready for family and friends to use.

The pool pump replacement and pool heater installations went off without a hitch. The price and quality of service on these two items was great.

We did this project in conjunction with replacing our screen and porch structure. The deck was originally going to be updated with a spray finish. Unfortunately, prior owners had put Kool Deck over Chatahoochee and the entire deck had to be taken up and then we put new Kool Deck down. Instead of removing the coping, we chose to have it refinished. We replaced the tile inside the pool, removed an old ladder and replaced it with a handle at the steps instead and had the interior of the pool refinished. The workers were all skilled at their jobs. The finishes turned out beautifully and the refinish job on the coping looks amazing-like new. We were given instructions on pool care which is quite intense for the first month. They even came out on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day to finish up the project. We had a new pool pump motor installed at the same time and they even made a new pad for the pool equipment to match the pool deck. Once the deck was done, it had some low spots with water collection. They saw this and came by to re-do the deck making it more level. They also installed new drainage around the pool. The whole job looks great and very updated compared to our old 70s look. We were mindful of cost and found the choices available for tile, deck and pool finish to be quite extensive at the basic (least costly) level. They have been doing pools for years and were able to guide us through the whole process.

It went well overall. Be sure to discuss details and methods for continued care of the pool when they are finished. We have hired them for the summer to be sure the pool is properly maintained during this first summer (although they do leave all instructions and most chemicals for self care).

My experience with them was very good. I described the problem; they came out and took care of it; that was pretty much it. It's a family-owned personal service.
