Furniture Refinishing
My patio furniture is 12 years old. It is wrought aluminum and endures salt spray.
I shopped around town bringing one chair to 2 different service providers. Hot Colors charged the least amount. There were several places on the chairs as well as tables that because of salt spray had pitted through to the bare metal. The owner was honest with me explaining those spots may not be perfect when the job is complete. I was nervous about my color choices as I didn't see exactly what I wanted on his sample chart. He spent time with me walking the color chart inside as we'll as out in the sun. He even took my one chair, sand blasted, applied the color then called me to come look at the finished color. It was perfect.
The job took about a week. I didn't see any imperfections at all.
To be honest, we had trouble locating his shop. It is tucked away in an industrial section of Cocoa. We passed the road several times and almost gave up. He needs a sign out front. The shop is organized and relatively clean considering there is a sand blasting hut there. Each of my 17 pieces of furniture was carefully wrapped in plastic when finished.
What I really liked about this business is it looks as though it is a hard working 2-3 guys who are flexible and customer oriented. There were many items there I didn't expect to see. Beautiful children's bikes, fancy car wheels and some very large metal things I didn't recognize.
