HOMETEAM INSPECTION SVC

The owner, Ronald McDougald, came to the house with his wife, Gloria.  I was a "sight unseen" buyer from another state who was relying on their competence and integrity to steer me right.  We spoke over the phone when they were at the house with the real estate agent.  So when I finally moved in to see the house (December) this is what I discovered they did not disclose:  1) They missed 2 none-working outlets, even though I specifically told him to check all the outlets.  2) Missed residue in the outlets commonly associated with flood damage (there was a flood in 2005) 3) Took photos of the part of the roof that was excellent and did not document the part of the roof with all the branches and debris from an oak tree.  4) When asked about dogs in the neigborhood, Ronald said there might be a couple, but nothing to worry about .  To my horror, I discovered an 8 foot high dog kennel with four barking dogs positioned right on the property line!!! Ronald took photos of the backyard, but not of the obvious dog kennel.  Hmmm, I wonder why?
Although it is neary impossible to prove, I am of the opinion that Mr. McDougald had divided loyalties between myself, a one time client, and the listing agency, with whom he probably was counting on to do more business with in the future.  As a result I am having a very difficult time cleaning up the mess he left me.
As a result of my experience with HomeTeam Inspection Service,I would never ever recommend them to anyone in Cocoa FL, or anywhere else.  In my opinion, they are dishonest.
