We will come to your home prior to your trip to meet you and your pets and to discuss additional services you may require, such as mail and newspaper pickup and plant watering. The contract includes a Consent for Medical Care in the event of a medical emergency. We will leave a reminder for you to call us when you arrive home after your trip. Your pets' well-being is very important to us, and due to the possibility of a travel delay we will continue to pet sit until we hear from you.

Susan and Amy arrived for the interview and introduction to my kitties on time and they were very thorough in taking the application information and asking questions about the kitties and my home. I ended up having to postpone my trip due to work constraints, but I was able to touch base with Amy while I rescheduling the trip. When my plans were cast in stone, Amy was available.
Communications with both Amy and Susan were very good. Phone calls and emails were promptly answered.
Amy touched base with me via phone the first evening she dropped by the house and assured me my home was secure and my kitties were taken care of. She let me know she could text me after each visit . Communications and trust are key to me for leaving my kitties home with a sitter.
When I came home, my house was secure, neat, and the food/water bowls were full and the litter boxes were clean. My kitties were all happy and healthy. Amy went above and beyond in her duties. I was a happy camper.
I have hired other pet sitting services in the past as well as had friends say they will take care of my kitties while I was out of town and not felt secure with those decisions. I would have no issue in recommending Gand S Pet Services to anyone for pet sitting services. I know I will use them again in the future. I will also ask for Amy in particular. She was an angel with my kitties.
Animals' stress at the change in routine of their owner being gone is greatly alleviated by remaining in their own home, rather than being moved to a novel atmosphere with unknown smells, sounds, animals, people and schedules. Many pet owners have returned home after having a friend or neighbor take care of their pets, only to wonder if the person came by or spent time with their animals at all. I know how that is and, until I found G and S Pet Services, had experienced nearly every pet sitting horror story, including the indoor-only cats getting outside; animals stuck to my side for the first full week of my return suggesting they hadn't been given any attention; sudden and significant unhealthy weight gain suggesting an over indulgence in treats and /or people food; broken and missing household items; finding spaghetti sauce (etc.) on the ceiling, couch and and quot;cleanand quot; pans; cat pee all over the floor (filthy litter boxes), human prescription medicine spilled on the floor where the dog can get to it or mixed in with the cat meds, and coffee dribbled on the carpet in every room of the house (...and don't get me started on the receipt I found for a book entitled, and quot;Big, Spankable A**es... No, I'm not kidding).
When I return home after my G and S Pet Services sitter has been taking care of my pets, all the animals exhibit behaviors that indicate contentment; all act calm, secure, and confident. There are no indications of separation anxiety or boredom. Everyone is healthy, at the same weight as when I left. She is very loving, affectionate, and professional! And the house is just as I left it. I cannot express how grateful I am to come home after working 12 hrs a day for 40 days in a row without a day off and NOT need to clean up after the pet sitter. It is absolute heaven!
On one occasion prior to my leaving on assignment one of my cats developed a health issue which required him to be taken to the vet 2-3 times a week and receive medications 2-3 times a day. Between my sitter and Susan, the cat made every appointment and received every medication, both of which kept him alive. Their communication, caring, and dedication are so deeply appreciated. The cat is now fully recuperated and back to his sassy old self thanks to them. The transport fee charged to take him to the vet was very reasonable and their observation skills and care were utterly invaluable. They are fully insured as well as approved pet transporters and currently serve Cocoa, Port St. John, south Titusville, and Merritt Island. Top quality care by top quality people. Hire them. Seriously.
