Don's Tree Service

Don and his workers showed up as expected. They got right to work and did a great job. Everything was done in a timely fashion and clean up was good as well.

Don is definitely a hard worker doing a hard job under difficult conditions when the weather is extremely hot. I feel he is fair and did a good job. I will definitely hire him again to complete additional work.

My neighbor hired to trim my tree in the front yard because it was hanging on her roof. May I say it was one branch. We have been getting estimates to trim our tree and to keep it shaped. It was a beautiful tree and when I was leaving for work I saw what they cut. They were polite but said that they had to cut it back away from her property line. I understand but this tree has been here for 20 years or more and you chopped it up on this side. They ruined my tree and now I have to hire someone to see what can be done. Not sure how it is going to look but it won't be the same. If they were professional tree care workers they should have trimmed it correctly and I would have hired them to finish shaping the tree. They only cared for the homeowner that hired them and had no regard for my tree in my yard, We had a professional out for an estimate to do something doe this tree and he shook his head and said it won't be the same, it is chopped up.

The empty lot next to us had a five 50 foot pines next to our home which damaged our home during the hurricane. The property owner – who lives in Georgia – hired Don’s to remove the 5 pines that caused the damage. The work performed took 4 days to take down 5 trees. Plus, the stumps are about 2.5 feet above the ground – they should be less than a foot – and there are several very large branches that are left over from the fallen trees, still posing a threat to our home should we get another storm. The work overall was very sloppy, but it appeared they were in over their heads as they didn’t have the proper equipment to do the work. Because of this, we must now go in and cut the branches up and move them elsewhere so we don’t have further damage to our home. After seeing the job they did, I wouldn’t recommend them.

Don is very busy, so it took awhile for the job to start after I received his estimate. Don recommended some additional work (trimming back ground brush, etc.) while he was here. I relied on Don's expertise to work on any items I overlooked, such as additional tree limb removal . Don and his workers were very polite and professional.

I have used Don for more than 10 years. He is careful, and an excellent climber. He is very knowledgeable as to how to remove parts of trees and limbs that can cause trouble. The good rating on punctuality is because he is always very busy, and sometimes cannot make an appointment exactly on time.

They were very considerate about the property and my home. They worked hard. I would suggest to get a contract with a time frame. I would recommend them to a friend.

It was good. They were knowledgable and timely and cleaned up well after themselves.

Excellent job! I have used him three times because he was so good. His price is better than the competitors but it does take a little longer to get you scheduled.

In addition to the tree service they performed, I came home and they were RAKING MY YARD! They were cleaning up after themselves! He even suggested cutting down a few other trees and didn't charge me a bit more for that! They did a fine job.

I believe he did a good job. All my records are up in my attic. I had two different tree services do some work for me and I don't have the dates so I guessed at it and I may be wrong on the date. If the company reviews it they can correct the date..

They were awesome and great. The damage to the roof was done by the initial tree, and they were just very general in getting the logs off, as they handed them down. They were quite large logs. I did get a quote like a $100 cheaper, but I did not really trust the guy and I mean you could smell alcohol in his breath. I think their price was good, the job they did was perfectly done and they were there early.

They did a thorough job and I will use them again.

I am very satisfied with the work and would recommend the company to anyone.

He is extremely friendly, he is knowledgeable, he is 60 plus years old and still he scampers up and down trees with his belt on, and cuts trees with chain saw. He is just extremely knowledgeable. He is expensive at times. We will use him in the future.

Not only is Don an expert at what he does, he is also an artist. When thinning out the oak trees he worked on one branch at a time, a very time consuming proposition and at some very high heights. He did it better than anyone I have seen. To add insult to injury and lt;and lt;ggand gt;and gt; he even did an impeccable job of cleaning up after the job! That's a first in these parts. In closing, if you want the job done right and don't want a mess left behind this is the go to guy. Regards.

Don showed up on the day he said he would. Him and his crew did an expert job and trimmed each tree to perfection. The best job I have ever had a tree sevice do on my trees. (and I have tried many with varying degrees of success). After completing the trimming, all debris was picked up, swept up, and hauled away. I will definitely use Don's Tree Service again.

Don has taken care of the dozen 100+ year old oak trees and numerous other trees and shrubs in my yard for the past 12 years. He takes the time to do the job right and is very knowledgeable about Florida trees and plants. He gives free estimates but I usually just go with a handshake. He has never let me down. Don is in high demand and at the mercy of Florida thunderstorms so he occasionally takes a few days longer to complete the work than his original estimate but he has never let me down.
