BEWARE OF: Daryl Lipsey owner of Atlantic Construction and Roofing Company LLC, aka ACR, 1290 Adamson Rd, Cocoa FL 32926, is a smooth talker, he was punctual, polite, and seemed to be knowledgable when he came out to give us an estimate on the roofing job (new roof on screened porch and fix roof leak on main part of house). He told us he gauranteed his work, would do it right and making the customer happy was his goal. He also said he would do the work himself. Instead he came on the first day, to "supervise" and brought a worker, "R" which happened to be an ex convict (I found out from because "R" himself told me) They did a sloppy job, because the next rain it leaked (both from the new roof over screen porch and the in the same spot of the supposed repair on the main house). He sent the ex con, "R"  back the second time, and assured me not to worry, that it was "gauranteed" and if for some reason it leaked again he would come back as many times as it would take to get it right, then it rained and leaked again in the same spot. He sent the ex con "R" back a third time, it rained and leaked again. Despite being very patient with him and gently telling him that I was not happy with his work and that I need this situation remedied (after 3 try's and not getting it right, upping the price in the middle of the job, not even comming close to matching the color of the shingles, leaving nails and general sloppyness) He told me he was not going to come back anymore, because it was costing him too much money, and that if I did not like his work, to get another roofer.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND DARYL LIPSEY OR HIS COMPANY, ACR.
 
I will be contacting the Dept of Business and Professional Regulation with a complaint, the BBS, and take him to small claims court.

Getting the windows took over a month -but job was finished and I was pleased.

a very professional experience. Jon and the entire crew were such a pleasure to deal with. Appointments kept, schedule deadlines met, great communications. Jon even worked with us through an unforseen event to help us bring this project to completion.

Painfully!!....with lots of stress, because of the poor quality of work and lack of skill. I gave him money for materials I never saw. He admitted to owing me materials, but has not delivered them, or reimbursed me for anything.
