We had been burned by an incompetent tile contractor who took 2 attempts to build our shower before we fired them. We contacted the Schluter Corp and asked them to give a competent tile installer. The factory rep from Jacksonville came to our home, saw the terrible job that had been done and recommended RC Custom Contracting. After a job is messed up it is often difficult to find someone to fix it. RC sat down with us and systematically went over the details of what was going to be done, what the costs would be, and provided a definitive time schedule. The coordinated with the Schluter company for the components, got us a great deal on porcelain tile and did the job on time. They were terrific in managing the project, fixing structural problems caused by the builder and the previous contractor and turned what had been a disaster into a beautifully done bath. Ryan (the owner) and John Davis (project coordinator) could not have been more pleasant to work with. Every nick, scratch and ding was smoothed over and professionally finished. RC Custom Contracting does most of their work in The Villages and surrounding areas.
