I have two dogs, one who gets along with other dogs and one who does not. I had to go out of town for a little over a week and needed a safe place to leave one of my dogs. The other one stayed at my daughter's house with her 2 dogs. I dropped my dog off at the kennel on a Friday late afternoon. Her room was ready for her, with a water bowl and bedding for her. The kennel did not smell, which was a good thing. I had checked out the kennel a few weeks before and was impressed then, too. For dogs who get along with others, they have a really nice big play area for them indoors. I like this because there is no way for the dogs to escape and get outside where they could get hurt. I thought this was very safe. For dogs like mine, who don't play well with others, they take the time to have her in the play area, but with no other dogs. They play with her. They also let my dog hang out with them in the lobby area. When I came to get my dog, she did not seem stressed at all. In fact, it took her about a minute before she got excited to see me. She also smelled so nice. They must have given her a bath before I picked her up. I would definitely have her stay here again. In fact, I may even have my other dog go there for daycare this summer. Overall an excellent experience

As always, it went very well. We have boarded/groomed our cat four times over the past year from 7 to 10 days at a time. Several cats are there at all times; two of them belong to the owners. Each cat has its own cage; it is located with other cages in a big room with windows completely separated from the dogs. Their cages are left open should they want to come and wander around. Their cages are always clean, and each cage has a water and food dish as well as a litter pan. After six pm each day, the cats are allowed to go out in the lobby and explore as well as lounge on the leather couches in the lobby. Pawfection has staff there 24 hours a day. It is a wonderful experience for our cat.

The groomers did a poor job, but on top of that the facilities are poorly maintained (excrement and hair all over the place) and I witnessed a groomer hit a dog while I was waiting to pay. Never coming here again.

Pawfection Connection Pet Salon has a daycare. I use them for doggie daycare. It is great for letting your dog interact with other dogs. They take care of them for the day. It is cheap. My dog loves to go. They are very good with my dog. They are very clean. I will use them again.

I took our dog, Danny, in for a professional grooming. Our home efforts had become rather pitiful in appearance. Also, the hair around his eyes never grew and laid down the way most Lhasa's do, so poor Danny looked as if he had a fan in front of his eyes all the time. When he started running into things, we knew we had to do something. I explained to the ladies at the front desk exactly how I wanted him groomed, and that he didn't like anyone messing around his eyes or paws. They said, "No problem." and that they would call me when he was ready. I dropped him off around 10am and got the pick-up call around 2pm. I couldn't believe it was the same dog when I saw him! Although his tail was left a bit longer than I wanted, he looked magnificent--and smelled wonderful! My son and husband thought I'd switched dogs when they got home. We were all very pleased...all, except Danny, that is. Not so sure about him.

Results were good, but like with most haircuts whether human or animal, what you ask for and what you get may not always be the same thing. There is reason for concern because they allow ALL the dogs to be loose in the shop together. They also don't require proof of current vaccinations.

Sherri was wonderful with my dog. She went over details to be sure to understand my needs and desire for the cut I wanted. She took special care by offering oatmeal shampoo when I explained my dog has allergies. The business was very clean and professional. I had no worries about leaving my dog in Sherri's care. It was obvious that she loves animals (as well as the other groomer in the shop) and comforted my very nervous dog. When I picked up my dog she not only looked like I wanted, but was very happy and comfortable with the people in the shop. I will go back for her regular grooming appointments and will share this information with friends in need of a groomer.

On my Chows it took the groomer over three hours to complete, as there is so much coat to dry and comb out. Priced slightly higher then used to, but I have tried three different groomers in the Leesburg, FL area and although $20 cheaper for each dog, they didn't do a satisfactory job.
