We are not here 100% of the time so we were flying blind. Jack from Hummingbird recommended him to replace what Corey said was 2 pallets of sod that the HOA noted as needing replacement. Corey however was very pleasant and returned calls when needed. He told us that the cost would be $1300. While not here when the install happened, (Nov 4, 2023) I did not see the finished product til mid December. I was totally shocked at how the sod was installed. His crew did not remove the old sod completely and now the grass is "Tiered" and the new sod about 2 inches higher than the original sod. Corey came to see what I had been talking about and I told him I wanted it to be rolled to try to get it to close to the same height as the old sod that remained. His response was that he has not had a job that required a roller yet and when he does he will roll it. So...I pay $1300 dollars for something that looks like crap but I have to wait til he gets another job that requires a roller before he can roll mine. I think the $1300 should cover him rolling it instead of me having to wait til he gets another job requiring a roller so he can use it on mine. Why not, let someone else pay for it. Since Corey does not do the actual install, however he is responsible for the people who do install it. A lot of money for shoddy install.

When they put some of the sod down they did not level so I have a small hill in my yard.

I recently hired Murray Outdoor for a sod installation job. Communication before, during, and after the project exceeded my expectations. Murray Outdoor saved my backyard. I'd been working with a contractor who ghosted me halfway through the project. After waiting months, I called Murray. They came out, gave me a fair estimate, and even made suggestions that were better than what I initially wanted. AMAZING communication, and that was major for me because of my prior negative experience. I couldn't be happier with the final product.

Corey is professional and listened to what we envisioned for our new landscaping . He gave great ideas of what would or would not work around our home. His team removed old landscaping, a tree and planted new plants, palm and fresh mulch and outdoor lighting. It looks beautiful. And, Corey is quick to return texts and calls if you need anything . We highly recommend Murray Landscaping .

I highly recommend Murray Outdoor for landscaping! We hired them years ago for a rental property of ours, and they continue to provide excellent service. Communication is prompt and courteous. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COREY MURRAY AT MURRAY OUTDOOR AT ALL!! What I thought was going to be a good choice in his service turned out to be the WORSE CHOICE EVER!! I had spoken with Corey Murray several times to go over what I wanted for my landscaping look and he did not listen as I thought and follow through with what that plan was at all and went with his own plan. He over ordered terribly on plants not needed as well on mulch. He did not show up OR STAY to supervise his crew and the job to be done! His crew showed before him without my knowledge of being here to let me know of and just started ripping out plants everywhere in our yard that I specifically told Corey were not to be removed! I came out the door first thing seeing this happening and told them what they did was not to be done and they told me Corey told them to rip everything out. WOW!! Corey showed up for 5 minutes and told me he was leaving I asked why he was not staying to oversee the job and he said he had another appointment. Why would you set out to leave a job you are supposed to be here to oversee to be done right???? SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! I ended up staying outside all through the process to see it was done the way it was supposed to be done for the whole time they were here! Corey Murray is not a professional when it comes to his jobs to be there! I am the one who ended up designing and overseeing everything due to his lack of business responsibility! I also asked him 3 times about putting in a border in to hold the mulch and he keep telling me you would not need it...another thing he proved to be wrong about! I now have had a mess on my hands with the mulch flying out of my flower beds everywhere and my lawn guy has not been able to trim near the bed edges as needed to prevent it from flying around. I have been told by 3 other landscape professionals that he did a poor, unprofessional and shorty job in more ways than one and by not properly securing in the mulch bed in!. I had to stand my ground with him that he was going to credit us to the overage on the plants he ordered as well as a push with how much mulch he ordered. I am happy with how I was able to fix and rearrange the mess of how he would of placed his crazy choice of plants in our yard and would NOT recommend him at all based on his total unprofessional workmanship given. He talks the big sale talk to you but when it came time to do the job he completely bailed out on us! He oversaw nothing!, did not come back to oversee anything when finished and left that all up to me to do after being out in 90+* temperature with heat exhaustion and a bad sun burn by the end of it all. Corry Murray you failed and bailed on us big time and need to learn a lot more about your right choice of plants and plant counts and to what being A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PERSON RESPONSIBILITY IS!! I now realize I should of credited us back money in the end to the final payment given to you to the upset of damaging loss of my beautiful full plants that were ripped and ruined by your crew caused by your sorry lack of listening and to much more you have caused us to fix based on what you did not do right at all. THIS IS A WARNING PEOPLE DO NOT USE MURRAY OUTDOOR TO ANY OF YOUR LANDSCAPING SERVICES!! You will regret it as we sure have!!

Workers were very polite & friendly. Landscaping was done within a reasonable time. Everything was cleaned up & hauled away. Plants were excellent & well maintained.

I called Corey Murray with Murray outdoors in need of a new irrigation system. Corey and his crew was an excellent fit for the job. They installed a 7 zone system for an amazing and competitive price. They were on time, upfront, and very easy to work with. Thank you so much for keeping our yard alive.

TERRIBLE Service - DO NOT USE !!!! Stay away from Murray Outdoor We had a small sod project just down two sides of our house. Jeremy came out to do the estimate. He said they would spray to kill the current grass and moss then come back about a week later to grade the soil and install the sod. He said they would cut the dirt away with a sod cutter and haul it away after the grading so the grass would be installed level with the other lawn areas. As near as I can tell when they came with the sod they just dropped it on the ground. At the edge areas by the existing grass, the sod overlaps and is sitting on the existing grass. There are gaps between the sod pieces. The sod under the gate is so high the gate will not open now. They covered my sprinklers but cut out for SOME of the termite bait stations. They left without saying anything, even the someone was home the whole time. Maybe that is because they did not clean up either. They left sod cuttings on top of the sodded area and used my wheel barrow leaving dirt in it and did not put it away. I thought maybe they would go to lunch, but they just disappeared. I called their office as soon as I realized they were gone. I was told to send pictures of what I was talking about, which I did and that is the last I have heard from them. I was told someone would come a take a look on Monday (Sod put down on Friday). Now - . No one has come by. No one will answer the phone and no one will return my messages. Save yourself a lot of grief and go with somebody else. DO NOT use Murray Outdoor.
