HouseMaster Home Inspections

While the inspection appeared to go well, there were 2 inspectors present. Because of this is was very hard to follow both throughout the home. Since moving in we have discovered several things that should have been noted on the inspection. Neither tub stopper was working, the dishwasher was not hooked up correctly, the water softener was not working amongst other things. Nothing that was huge but a lot of small things that have added up.

The process with HouseMaster started when we called to schedule our appointment. The two women that we spoke with were able to answer our questions and followed through with the scheduling process efficiently. They were also very easy to talk with and very pleasant on the phone. During the Home Inspection, Steve Sr. knew what to check, how to check it, and was able to answer all of the
questions that the insurance company needed to know. He was punctual, honest with his assessments and also able to stay on track even with all of our questions. He used what seemed to be the latest equipment and computer technology to complete the inspection and deliver the report that we needed. After the inspection, when we had additional questions, Steve Sr. was available to answer them for us. Steve Sr. was very thorough, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk with. He took the time to answer all of our questions indepth. The amount that we saved on our insurance in one year more than paid for the Home Inspection and the Wind Mitigation Reports.

He was very thorough and answered all the questions I had. He also gave me advice on what to do with the things that he found wrong.

He did a phenomenal job on this. My insurance company made a last minute change and he came out for no additional charge. They wanted a different form on the inspection because the house was older. He jumped through there hoops to make this happen. I was really happy with the job. He was professional and knowledgeable and really went above the call of duty. I would recommend him to anyone.
