Fix Plus By Carlos Jimenez

Work was done in a timely manner. We were never stood up or ignored. Phone communication = EXCELLENT Workers polite, unobtrusive, yet friendly. Carlos Jimenez - owner - treated us as friends. I did remember Carlos saying "No." He didn't but answered questions and explained everything to our satisfaction.

We had a flood when they left the waste pipe open without saying anything. That was the waste pipe from the toilet and the sinks. They didn't tell me. I drained my kitchen sink and it flooded the bathroom. That took a couple of days to dry out using fans. Then, the accent tile on the wall around the tub surround - they didn't do properly. They had to remove it and do it again. There was also a step built to get in and out of a soaker tub that was crooked, which they had to redo. The bathroom vanity- they ordered on my behalf. They brought something different, when they pointed that out they said it was definitely what I ordered. When I pushed further, he said the one I had chosen was not available in the size I needed. I actually went to the store he got the items to pick up a shower rail which was not included; and I saw the unit I ordered and requested on display and in stock! When I told them that, they brought the one I wanted the following day. They took out one they installed and put the one I wanted in. I had chose a medicine cabinet and mirror to match. When they mounted the medicine cabinet, it had mirrored doors - they mounted it so high that the only thing I could see was my head. They didn't have the mirror until a couple days later. They put it up high to avoid a plug - which should have been moved before they installed the mirror and the medicine cabinet.When I objected to them doing that, they said they would move the electrical plug which they did move. They took down the cabinet, reinstalled at the correct height which they would not have done had I not objected to the mirror being too high. When all that was done and we used the new tub for the 1st time; water leaked from behind the tub and where the tub was attached to the wall below the shower head. We had to mop that up with towels. They did fix that a couple of days later. What we were concerned about; is water going being the tub surround, behind the tub. We were told by the contractor that it would be no problem. I had also asked for a warranty. He said he would give me one for 3 years. He gave a 2-sentence written warranty for 1 year. I emailed to let him know he had promised 3 years. I have no had a response since. When they pulled out the vanity to replace it; they messed up the finish around the sink and they kind of fixed it but it still looks a mess. I do no want him back again! They were totally inept. They broke a water line outside the house. It was almost 2 months to get anything done.

We are very satisfied, they did a great job, they moved everything out and didn't damage anything, and they cleaned up everything also when they left!
