 + -1 moreVery poorly. Gary Butler from DockPro contracted with me to build a seawall with all the necessary permits. Seawall was never finished despite the fact that DockPro was paid in full in September of 2017. Mr. Butler partially built a sea wall but never finished. He only submitted a permit for a retaining wall which was not approved by the State of Florida or Orange County EPA. He was fined $600 by Orange County which he refused to pay. I had other contractors come out to attempt to finish the job. They suggested I should remove what he had done because Mr. Butler did not know what he was doing.
Description of Work: Build a seawall.

 + -1 moreThe pylons were replaced by Gary Butler. However they were never hammered into the ground. The existing dock was quickly tacked back on to the pylons with nails and wood screws. The original pylons were connected were connected to the dock with thick bolts and screws. 2 days later the boat dock fell apart from the winds of Hurricane Irma and destroyed my brand new ski boat. Mr. Butler came out, surveyed the damage, and said the dock only collapsed because of the hurricane. None of the other docks collapsed due to the hurricane. Several other dock companies came out to to look at the damage and pointed out the shoddy work. I was told that Mr. Butler was a scam artist and is always in trouble with Orange County EPA for his Dock work.

Description of Work: I left multiple phone messages for this company to give us a bid on replacing our dock that we lost during the Hurricane. I NEVER received a courtesy phone call. It has now been over 2 weeks since my last attempt to contact them and though someone answers the phone and assures me someone will get back to me, It has not happened.

 + 0 moreI never seen a group of people work harder. They had many tree root challenges but they worked through them, literally. There was no way to get any type of machinery into the project site so everything had to be done by hand including wheelbarrows for all the fill (2-truckloads). Project ran 2-days longer than estimate but they stuck to their quoted price and didn't ask for more.
Description of Work: I had a new aluminum canal seawall approx. 75' and small boat platform (4 X 8) installed in a canal.

Description of Work: Gary Butler and his crew (AKA Dock Pro) built two boat docks for us. One each for my neighbor and I, at the same time. Our particular shoreline is a difficult place to work. It is saturated with cypress knees and muck. In spite of the adverse conditions, they built two high quality structures that we were highly satisfied with. They used heavy grade, high quality, materials. After inspecting several docks, built by various builders, we decided that Dock-Pro built the best dock for the money. They obtained all of the proper building permits and did not try to shortcut any building codes. Once they started the project, they stayed with it consistently through completion. Even the building inspector commented on the high quality of the work.

Description of Work: I don't recall the exact date of this project. We had a dock and boathouse with lift installed. The contractor was excellent, the quality was very good, and the job was completed on time, in spite of slight weather obstacles. He even came back after we finally put a boat on the lift to adjust and align the lift system. Overall I would recommend him to anyone. And, it was amazing that the company owner worked on the job and never wore shoes, except for one very cold morning.
