Del-Air Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical of Clermont

Technician Dez came to review my Trane system yesterday. The system is about 2 yrs old, so should be fine, but Dez spent an hour checking things out and then took the time to explain to me how the system works optimally with a couple of tips. He left me feeling confident in my system and my ability to manage it!

Pat was my tech and he was great and knowledgeable. He fixed all of the screw ups of my previous techs with other companies. I am now on a maintenance plan to stay on track. Thanks, Pat! ?

We went with American Air & Heat who responded immediately and came out about an hour later!!!

My ac was leaking. I called Del air to have them fix it. He told me he fixed it but it still wasn't working right. I had to called Harris Oil Heating and they were able to fix it and even showed me what Del Air did wrong. I called Del Air back and they would only refund back 50% of money.

They came out right away. Did a good job. It was done right the first time. Courteous people. Fair, good grades from me all the way through.

I don't like the lack of dedication to the job. Thank God I was here. He really didn't care about what he was doing I think it was just a job to him. It's one of those situation where you can do better than this. I complained to them on a survey, They contacted me and  sent another guy out to redo what this guy did, the first one. They're response is excellent. I just don't trust their work, their technicians.

They were pretty good too. We used them over 10 years. Their price was comparable. They most always came within a half an hour from what they said. It was a good experience. I mean they took care of everything, but the reason we switch is because the neighbors used them, they did such a good job over there, the Munn?s, that we just switched. 

Del-Air always did a good job, I mean, it wasn?t that they didn?t do a good job. The price for their air conditioner was more than what Munn?s was, so that?s the reason we switched.

TERRIFIC! This is not the first time my wife and I called Del-Air and used their services...and it definitely won't be the last! We called them on a Sunday (late morning) and left a message for their on-call technician; they called us back in about 30 minutes. They were able to come out later that afternoon and the tech that came was GREAT,,,his name was Teroch? (I apologize if I got the name wrong...it was something similar to this), but anyway he was VERY professional, knowledgeable, and fast! In less than 30 minutes he had our air conditioner back up and running strong and blowing out ice cold air. I am continuously impressed by the level of professionalism of all of Del-Air's employees. And they are all so friendly as well!!!

They are honest and reputable. Before they did the work they told us what needed to be done and gave us option.

That was in Florida.  That was recently as a matter of fact.  I believe they have an office in Clairmont.  They did a very good job.  They were here about three weeks ago.  Their in the business to sell air conditioners so they try to push sales on you but I didn't go for that.  They do try to sell you an entire replacement which was not necessary.  It cost $340.

Made a couple trips just to keep me informed on whats going on. I order new unit. 100% professional. Always been fair. Always stood behind there word.

The next day(Saturday) Tim West, a Del-Air new system rep, came out and we talked about what our options were for replacement of our unit. He was very cordial and knowledgeable about the various air conditioning brands that Del-Air offers. Our choices were very limited since, because of the size of our house, we needed a 5 ton air conditioner. Also, our house has a five zone heating and cooling damper system which allows for setting the temperature in the house's different rooms to different temperatures to save money and energy. Our new unit would have to be a Carrier air conditioner to be compatible with this system.
Tim helped us select the highest rated BTU 5 ton air conditioner with the most efficient energy rating that was compatible with our zone air conditioning controls and thermostats.  We also told him that we would like to have a higher rated BTU heater and he helped in selecting the largest heater that was also compatible with our system. Tim told us that on Monday they could have the crew out to install our new heating and air conditioning units. That was quite a pleasant surprize to us because our expectation, since it was Saturday afternoon, was that they wouldn't be able to come out until Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest.
We finalized the sale and took out the 10 year parts and labor warranty. We had a 10 year warranty on our old system and were very glad we did. Over that 10 years we had numerous service calls and had the compressor, control board, blower fan, evaporator and probably other stuff we can't think of at the moment replaced. So we certainly got our money back from the extended warranty.
The whole process didn't take over 45 minutes and Tim made it a pleasure to buy what we wanted from him with no pressure sales tactics. [To be honest, I don't think he could have sold us anymore than what we wanted which was about the best they could offer.]
Tom, the Del-Air installer, came out promptly at 8:30AM on Monday with his assistant. He explained what he was going to install the new components and that his expectation was that we would be up and running by 5:00PM. If for some reason he ran into difficulties he said that he would jerry rig whatever he had to to insure that we had air conditioning before he left.
Fortunately, everything went as planned and the new heating and air conditioning was up and running by 4:30PM. Tom and his assistant did a very professional job in installing the new piping and duct work.  We are very pleased with the "look" of the new inside unit's condenser and heater. The new units were larger than the old ones, but they fitted the duct work perfectly. When I had questions, they were very polite and knowledgeable in their responses. They cleaned up the work area so that it looked better than before they go there!
Del-Air is one of the largest heating and air conditioning companies in the Orlando area. They installed and maintained our old unit for over ten years. We have always received prompt, courteous and professional service from them.

I received a call regarding needed annual maintenance. Came on time, professional, and answered all questions. no problems, very happy with service!
