We called Doug on Saturday about a huge leak we had from the pipe in the bathroom that broke and flooded our home. He was quick and responsive even though he was on his own personal time. He told us what to get so we could turn on our water and use it again in the house without causing another flood, since he couldn't head out to us right at that moment. He kept in touch with us throughout the day and came out the very next day and fixed the problem and a couple of other issues we didn't know about. He was the best and super quick about it, I've never had that happened before.

Sent Doug pics of the damage on Friday. He showed up on Monday (MLK Day (A Holiday!!!)). 

Took a look at the job,

gave me the price (exceptional, in relation to other quotes),

I accepted,

he fixed it in less than 30 minutes,

and now he is my handyman forever!

This provider responded to a call on the weekend right away. He requested a photo sent via text of the situation and the address, promising to report to the location in an hour. As this was a Saturday afternoon my husband and I were very relieved to have even found someone that would answer our call but to respond within an hour was more than we expected! There was terrible weather in the area so he called to give an ETA update which was still within the agreed upon hour. He also quoted the cost of service before arriving. He arrived with the parts needed to fix the issue and even agreed to assist installing the new faucet hardware that caused the issue to begin with. He was professional and courteous the whole time and gave great tips for ensuring the hardwood floor would not buckle from the flooding. He and my husband will be working together in the future to fix the sprinkler system in the yard. The job was completed in 45 minutes and he helped with clean up. We were very pleased with the work and will continue to work with this provider.

I have been using Doug for about a year and all I can say is while he is a bit higher than our other handymen we have used in the past... HE is the BEST handyman we've ever had! I really can't say enough good about his work. He is awesome!
He is truthful.
He is trustworthy.
He is punctual.
He is excellent at his job.
He will not overcharge.
I swear he knows everyone in town by name.
If he can't do the job, he knows of another equally good person that can.
I just love both him and his wife (who is also a wonderful person) and all the help they have given me over the year. I look forward to a LONG and continued relationship with Central Florida Handyman!

.Before Doug arrived, we had been told by another handyman service that it would be necessary to bring external piping for about 20 feet from another hose bibb. As there is a pool enclosure, there would need to be a channel cut through the corner of the external walls of the house. When we suggested making a connection to the house's internal plumbing, we were told that it would be almost impossible. we would probably have given up but for a recommendation that we try Doug Garcia. When Doug arrived, we had already been conditioned to believe that we could not avoid external piping or having it channeled through the corner of the house. My lesson from this: don't necessarily believe what you're told. Doug said it could be done. We say that he is the guy to do it and we're very happy with the result. Three months on, it's still perfect.
