About us

ArborTech Tree Service is a family owned business which has been operating for over 20 years in the Central Florida area. The owner has over 30 years experience overall. We are liscenced and insured to meet state requirements. We usually have on staff at least 2 to 3 employees. Our billing procedures are payment in full once the job is completed and our customer is satified, unless otherwise discussed. We do accept Master or Visa cards.

Workmen trampled my flower bed (even after I asked them to stay out), and my wildflower meadow and lawn were trashed. I had carefully mowed the area I expected them to work in, but they went wherever they wanted. Asked them to stay away from gopher tortoise burrows, but noticed lots of boot prints in the ground around the apron, and one burrow has disappeared completely. Tight turns with the tractor treads completely tore up my grass. Despite my pointing out that they had destroyed hundreds of dollars of native plants, no discount/refund was offered. Couldn't wait to get them off my property.

Arbor Tech Tree service is phenomenal!!! Yancy came out on a Saturday morning and provided a quote for removing tree's and grinding the stumps. His crew was able to come out that afternoon and preform the work!!! They did a fantastic job!! Very quick, and professional. Work was executed exactly as specified. And actually they cleaned up so well that it looked much better after they left then before. I would highly recommend Arbor Tech Tree service.

Called Arbor-Tech for an estimate based on good reviews; Yancey scheduled an appointment with Derek who showed up on time and gave what I thought was a very reasonable estimate for the scope of work. The cedar tree was in a tricky area but Derek and his crew handled the job with skill and efficiency. Excellent communication between Derek and the others with safety an obvious concern. All of the crew were friendly and courteous, couldn't be happier with the job they did. I would absolutely recommend Arbor-Tech to anyone looking for the services they provide.

Saw them working down the street on 7/08/14 and left a message for them. Talked to Yancey that evening and he came by on 7/10 for an estimate. He gave me a reasonable price, told me it would be about 3 weeks, and to call on 7/24 for a more definite date. He called me on 7/23 and told me he had an opening that day and asked if we were ready. I told him to come on out. They got here about 9 AM and we walked through what had to be done with his team so everyone understood what was expected.
Everything went well and they were finished trimming and cleaning up about 4 PM. Yancey was here for another walk around to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. He and his team worked very well together and I would definitely use them again.

There were 3 to 4 men working on these trees all day - until about 6:30 pm. They removed a massive amount of wood - I don't think these very large trees had ever been trimmed. They removed dead wood, and lifted the branches well off the roof and pool cage - and they did all this in a way such that the trees are still nicely shaped. Bonus - they cleaned up every last twig!
This makes an amazing difference in the appearance of our property! And we now have some sun on the lawn and much more light in the house.
All of these gentlemen, from Yancy to all his crew members, were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. We couldn't be happier!

Everything went very well. Mentioned to a couple of my neighbors about getting my branches removed, they asked if I could get estimate for a couple of branches hanging over their screen rooms. When they came down, he gave estimate for my branches and the neighbors, too. Gave information to them about what their cost would be and they said okay to cut the branches. Called Arbor-Tech back and set up appointment. Arbor-Tech came at approximate time scheduled, set up equipment and began working. The one big problem they had was that they couldn't get the bucket truck in the back. One of the trimmers had to climb the tree and work to cut the branches. I was very nervous about that, but their experience proved they could do the job. Previous to their coming, I had mentioned to another neighbor about my appointment to have my branches cut. She asked if they could come to her house and estimate how much it would cost to have her trees trimmed of overhanging branches. They looked at her trees, gave her an estimate and she decided to have them trim the branches. They trimmed her trees right after mine and happy with the job they did. Trimming her branches was easier since they could use the bucket truck. When they were finished with the trimming, they cleaned up everything. Everyone was personable, experienced, and would use them again should I need more work done. Will give them an and quot;A+and quot; and recommend them if someone needs a tree trimmed. I don't know what the cost would be to remove a tree, but you can get a free estimate from them.

I had three over grown oak trees. One in the front yard and two in the back yard. The two in the back were touching my roof and patio area. They were of different varieties of oaks. The one near the roof was so thick no day-light showed through it and the patio was dark without sunlight.

"I am very suprised and disappointed in the rating I recieved on this job. Once our job is complete I always make sure the customer is satisfied with our work as I did on this particular job. To recieve a rating like this one 6 months after the job was complete is very disappointing to me. My customer must have simply misunderstood me when I asked about leaving the chips. I would under no circumstance, tell a customer I was leaving anything on the job that they did not want (referring to the wood chips from the stump grinding). I do however, ask if they would like the chips to be left in which many of my customers do keep them for flower beds. Referring to the comment about roots left from the stump... The stump that was ground was an extremely large (apx 6ft in diameter) with roots protruding throughout the yard. We did grind the stump down below ground level as was discussed with the customer. Root chasing was never discussed. As I stated before, I always check with my customer before I leave the job to make sure they are satisfied as I did on this particular job. My customer stated she was satisfied with the work and thanked me before I left. Had my customer contacted me once she seen an issue I would have returned to solve the problem. I never heard anything from my customer until now. If any of my customers find anything they are unhappy with, even after we have left the job, they are more than welcome to contact me and I will return to complete what ever it is that was overseen. I believe leaving a bad review six months later is very unfair. Arbor Tech Tree Service strives on above average job performance and customer satisfaction. The owner was exceptionally helpful, honest, and has a great deal of integrity. He was onsight with his crew and they did an excellent job.
If you call, Mrs. Arbor Tech will answer the phone, she is also very professional and helpful. If you happen to get an answering machine, leave a message and you will get a very timely call back.
They were fast, efficient and respectful of our property. When they were finished, not only did the tree work look great but they did a great job cleaning up.
We had gotten 3 other estimates for the work we needed done and Arbor Tech's estimate was extremly reasonable and competitive. The work was done to our exact specifications.

, I called Arbor Tech from Angie's list because he was from the area(clermont) so I wanted to give them a try. Yancey the owner came over and gave me an estimate. He said he would be back tuesday to do the work. He arrived tuesday with his helper and went to work. One hour and a half later they were finished and you never knew they were here the clean-up was immaculate. Yancey was very professional and is an extremely hard working, honest person. It was a pleasure to do business with him. We will do more business wih him in the near future. Fantastic! Tom C.
