THE PERSON AT HOME DEPOT SAID THAT FOR BATHROOMS AND KITCHENS YOU SHOULD USE SOMETHING I THINK SHE CALLED A PASTE ACTIVATOR. THIS ACTIVATOR IS ADDED TO THE WATER; YOU WET THE PAPER TO MAKE THE PASTE HOLD BETTER. I TOLD MR. MILLER ABOUT THE PRODUCT I HAD TO WORK THE DAY THE HE HUNG THE PAPER AND I LEFT MY WIFE A CHECK FOR $475 OF THE $585.00 TOTAL THAT WE HAD AGREED UPON. I LIKE TO INSPECT THE WORK BEFORE MAKING FULL PAYMENT ON ANY BIG JOB DONE AT MY HOME. WHEN MY WIFE GAVE HIM THE CHECK, HE TOLD HER THAT HE HAD COMPLETED THE WORK AND HE WANTED FULL PAYMENT. SHE FELT VERY INTIMIDATED BY HIM AND WROTE HIM A CHECK OUT OF HER ACCOUNT FOR THE DIFFERENCE. I PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE SUBMITTED A COMPLAINT TO YOU AT THAT TIME BUT THIS IS NOT SOMETHING I ENJOY DOING. IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE PAPER FROM PEELING AWAY ALONG THE TILE EDGES AND WINDOWS, I PUT SILICONE CALKING ALONG THOSE EDGES AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THEM. NOW SEVERAL OF THE SEAMS ARE STARTING TO LIFT AND I AM NOT HAPPY SERVICE.

"The job was installed two years ago. All wall-covering installers have a one-year warranty, but I am willing to glue down seams free of charge. Customer said seams started coming apart one and a half months ago right around the time all the hurricanes came through, which brought a lot of rain and moisture, which can cause this problem. This problem would have certainly occurred within the first six months. Customer could not get a hold of me because we were out of town for two weeks for the holidays. I wish customer had tried calling my cell phone, which is listed at the top of my invoice. This complaint probably would not have happened."

Todd did a great job! He always came when he was scheduled, if not he called to let me know ahead of time if he was running late. Very punctual and honest. - Member called after the fact and wanted to change the grade.
