"[Member Name Removed], our records show that your job was booked for after 12noon. I apologize that Ken was close to 4:30 pm in getting to you. His last job took much longer than anticipated as the owner kept asking him to do more work. He also had to drive from Madeira Beach (over an hour away to get to you). Still, my office should have been in better communication with you. Also, unfortunete that he was unable to repair your dishwasher. (We are plumbers and not appliance repairmen.) Sometimes this happens when we get called out to fix something which ends up being out of our league. His GPS shows that he was at your place at 4:24 pm and left at 4:59 pm. I can understand your frustration for us NOT solving your issue and sorry you were unhappy with our service. Our price reflected a one-[Member Information Removed] trip charge and the min one-hour service charge, (not an after-hours price.)"

"Sorry we could not satisfy your situation. My Tech did tell you that the toilet you had was a very cheap off-brand toilet after you told him that you had been having problems with it from day one. He did get it cleared and flushed it 4 times. I believe he also changed out the tank to bowl bolts and gasket. Eleven days later when we sent another Tech out (without charge) he stated the same thing. You told him that your husband would replace the toilet. That should fix the problem. Sorry you felt the need to give us a poor review."
Tony cut out the root and cut out the damaged pipes and replaced the pipes in no time. The water softner was a bonus item I mentioned I wanted removed and once again Tony took no time completing. Clearly his experience and knowledge makes him efficient and good at his profession.
I thought the pricing was fair and would recommend Tony and Tampa Bay Plumbing to anyone need of service.

Because our main contractor is of such high quality and so reknowned, we didn't think twice about hiring these guys to repipe our house. Unfortunately, we probably should have used Angie's List to find a plumber. This company did a good job running the main trunk lines in the attic and most of the feeders down in the wall, but the biggest issues were extremely poor attention to detail. The owner was great - prior to job start he came out and we talked about what had to be done at length and was agreeable to everything. In execution however, a lot was missing, such as a fridge box and a washer box. A few other highlights:
* Completely forgot about the backyard hose spigot despite showing them all of the outlets that need a repipe prior to job start. When they did fix it, the brass nipple they had was too short by about an inch...rather than wait and finish the job later, they just used what they had and now my backyard spigot just BARELY has the handle turnable without gouging the exterior wall behind it.
* Supply line for toilet and sink was left leaking on the bathroom floor.
* Didn't put insulation back after moving it in the attic.
* Was told I was getting a check valve on the supply line outside, but had to press for it.
* Very poor attention to crimping & closing off old copper supply lines.
* Never got the clamps for my exterior supply line.
* Very bad positioning on the pipes where they come out of the wall for the valves. Some of the placements had to be redone so that the drywall could be patched.
There's others, but I don't want to trash these guys too much as I think they're a company that's growing faster than they can handle.
The company did end up resolving most of these issues -- other little ones I just fixed myself and didn't bother mentioning.
Long story short, I wouldn't use these guys again, but maybe I just had bad luck. Maybe I have the wrong idea of what it means to repipe a house. Be sure to get every little detail down in writing.
