Great! When I called on Friday, I was told Troy would be out on Saturday b/w 12-4 because he had another job somewhere else that morning. He called me Sat am around 9:00 and said he'd be there in about 15 minutes (and he was!). His scheduler must have forgotten to let us both know that she rearranged his schedule. Worked out just as well-he was in and out and done with my job in less than 30 minutes.

It was very reasonable for trip,parts and very helpful and friendly and professional.

Troy was super professional (clean..something you typically don't see in the bay area!), kept me posted on his ETA, and super nice guy!  Gave me some side information regarding bay area hard water and my front end load washing machine.  I'd refer and call Troy again! 

I have a Sears Warranty on my refrigerator.  Tampa Bay Appliance Medic came out once and did a few repairs but the problem wasn't completely fixed. I called Sears again and they set an appointment with Tampa Bay Appliance Medic again.  I called him a few days before the appointment to make sure he had the parts he needed to do the repair and he said he would get back to me, he did not.  The day of the appointment I got off early to make it home for my appointment. I get home and I get a call from the guy asking me whats wrong with my refrigerator.  I tell him and remind him that I talked to him late in the week before and he was supposed to call me back. He then tells me he doesn't have the part and he will look into ordering it.  3 weeks later I haven't heard anything from the company so i call to check in.  He tells me the part was on back order but should be in soon. 2 weeks later I follow back up cause I haven't heard anything and over a month has lapsed since my original appointment.  No response from the Company.  This company is wasting my time and Sears money on false repairs. I am writing a review with Sears right now also.  This is unacceptable. 

We were happy with the service, the guys were very thorough.

Troy was awesome - he discussed my refrigerator with me on the phone so he could estimate what was wrong. He knew the questions to ask and came with the part to replace the next day. About 2 weeks later, the part was not working correctly and he was out the next day to check it out. He then determined the compressor was causing all the problems. He refunded me all but the service call.
He was professional and on-time.

I was very pleased with the process and very pleased with the final work. I highly recommend Troy with Appliance Medic and will certainly use him again.

Worst experience with a repairman ever. Failed to return calls!

We need to buy a new washer. But he was very professional, honest and nice. Also looking for a part for our dryer which is not heating very well.

I have used the Appliance Medic in the past and will continue to use him in the future. Not only does he do a great job, but he is very helpful in explaining how my appliances work and how to keep them working. This time I had a problem with my washing machine and disposal. When he was fixing the disposal, he also identified the problem leak I was having under the sink. It turned out to be my sink faucet. So I asked him what to look for in a replacement and he told me what I needed to know so I could pick up a new one which he then came back and replaced for me. He is professional and neat. He cleans up everything and never leaves a mess!

I've used Troy services twice. At this point I wouldn't use anybody else. His professional, efficient, honest and reliable.

It's fine, they repaired it. They weren't as fast as they promised but the reason was given to me I believe is that they couldn't get a hold of the part, they were on back order nationally so it took it longer to get the part to fix it but I'm sure they were truthful about that because once they've got it, they immediately came and replaced it on time when they said they were coming. I think it was $150 for everything also the part, it's the capacitor and they replaced it. I had a good experience with them. The delay was explained to me so I don't have a problem with that.

Overall, the experience was wonderful. Troy is the owner. Both times, he's been punctual and gets the issues resolved.

My dishwasher was leaking and, after determining it was not under warranty, I checked Angie's List and called Tampa Bay Appliance Medic. Troy came out and determined that it was a problem with a cracked hose that had occurred during Home Depot's installation of the dishwasher. He fixed it - we did have some problems coordinating times; but it was well worth it and I would recommend Appliance Medic wholeheartedly.

We spoke on the phone and arranged for a home service call. The technician was on time and performed the necessary analysis to find the problem and then fixed it. He also gave recommendation for what to do if the problem gets worse later and on how to prevent more problems of this type form happening again.

Contacted Troy in the morning, was able to schedule an appointment for after work. Arrived promptly, was quick to diagnose the problem and make the repair. Many thanks !!!

He also quickly repaired, for nothing, my gas stove..showing me where the problem was (kept clicking and took 20 seconds for the flame to come on) and how to keep the ingniters clean. Wow. I cannot say enough positive about this repair service. AND his prices are the most reasonable I know and I have shopped around!

He is quick to give helpful advise.

They were prompt, professional, and friendly each time. They returned my calls quickly and showed up either the same day or the next day. I had to have them come back a second time for a leak in the drain line and they discovered a problem with the way the line was installed by the manufacturer. In order to fix the problem the line had to be re-situated to keep it from clogging and causing a backup. Because they had cleaned the drain a couple of months prior to that visit, they repaired the problem and cleaned the drain a second time at absolutely no charge. It's unusual to find a business that stands behind its work and is willing to follow up like that. I would definitely use them again and recommend their services to anyone.

The part was on back order. But Troy from appliance medic kept informed on the status. Then replaced the part for a reasonable fee.

He found that the automatic defroster was not working and that the part was not one of the expensive ones to replace. The wire was broken in the part to the defroster and this seems to be a problem with GE. The total cost with part was 125.00! That is what some of the repair people wanted to charge for one visit. And they often said, it might be two visits before they could finish the job, since they may have to get the part!!! This fellow is fantastic.
