We purchased a swim spa for our Airbnb two years ago. It’s been FANTASTIC! Our guests love it and we have been booked 90% since purchasing. Believe me this spa takes a beating and hasn’t had any problems. Love it! Spa Manufacturers was excellent! We purchased our swim spa via Internet, they gave us time it would be manufactured and delivered. They delivered the day they told us. They also helped us with our questions regarding cement pad and electrical hook up. After it was delivered, we had a snafoo because our electrician wired our electrical outlet wrong. They stayed with us on the phone till we got it all figured out! (Our electricians fault). Couldn’t say more good things about this place or the product!

We bought a spa sight unseen and had many questions that were all answered promptly and to our satisfaction. The spa was delivered right on time with excellent instructions for set up. I love this spa and would highly recommend Spa Manufacturers to anyone.

Short story: cheaply made spa. Our cabinet is rotting, had to replace the entire brain and panel less than five years after we bought it, can't get a cover that won't get water logged, and so on. Just ask to see their full warranty. That will tell you all you need to know.

Update: 7/12/2014: After further discussion with the General Manager Karla Swanson, Swim Spa Manufacturers acted appropriately
and are providing the deluxe model spa for the advertised price of $9,995. The only thing the spa won’t include is the bar and bar stools. We ordered our spa today and were told we could expect delivery in 5 weeks. I will update this further once we receive the Spa and have had a chance to use it.

The saleslady "Ollie" was great. The tub was delivered on the day and time they said it would be. But this is where it starts going all wrong. First of all, you have to have your own electrician on stand by to hook up the tub. Spa Manufacturers do not deliver the tub, they have a subcontractor deliver the tub . The people who deliver the tub "Sebastian's" do not have licensed electricians. The owner of Sebastian's, whose name happens to be Sebastian and his helper Scott, were very nice but.....they don't hook up the tub for you. So what they did was deliver the tub, clean it up and explain how it works. My electrician is working on wiring the unit to a 220. Once the explanation of how the tub works, Sebastian's leave. My electrician finishes the hook up. (cost me $182.00 for his service and parts that day). We fill the tub, blow out the lines and everything works great. The blowers are running, the jets are running, the waterfall works and the heat is on. 10 minutes after initial startup we notice the heat is not on, and no circulation in the tub at all. We shut system down and the next day call the electrician to come double check everything. Another $90.00 charge. He confirms everything is wired correctly. He also states there is no circulation of water in the tub for the heater to work. We call Spa Manufacturers. Chris, is who took the call and after asking us questions states the heater control sounds like it is bad. He instructs the electrician to unhook the wires to the control panel and says he will have a technician bring us a new unit on Thursday (this is all happening on Monday, two days after delivery of tub). Chris also states we need to hire the electrician again to re-wire the new control panel because their technicians do not touch anything electrical or Chris suggested my husband to re-wire the new control panel. He is not an electrician and we are not young where we can get down on the floor. It's just been a night mare and all we wanted was a nice spa to relax in in the evenings. The point is SPA MANUFACTURERS DO NOT SERVICE WHAT THEY SELL. They will not touch a wire. We didn't even receive a manual or anything on how to work the tub. Now here we are having to hire another electrician because their equipment is bad. I am very disappointed and upset and would have never purchased an item that a company would not completely set up and get running for you. I can only hope that on Thursday, Spa Manufacturers will get my spa up and running. If they do, I will be more than happy to change my rating. But for now it is an F-.

Today is December 7, 2013 and I'm happy to report that once Carla, General Manager, got involved the spa was fixed immediately. Carla actually sent a technician out the following day, so we didn't have to wait until Thursday. The unit (Jamaican) had the wrong pump installed, that is why it was not heating or circulating the water. The technician changed out the pump and my husband did the wiring, (only 4 wires) in which the electrician had shown him the day before. If you have a 220 hook-up it is State Code that you have to have a licensed electrician do the wiring (my husband did research), that is why Spa Manufacturers can not do this for you. Carla even reimbursed us for one of the electrician visits. So thanks to Carla for stepping in and ensuring we received what we paid for. The spa is AWESOME. We relax in it every night. We couldn't be more happy. THANK YOU CARLA AND SPA MANUFACTURERS. The end result is definitely an A, but with all the headache at first I change my rating to a B.

I purchased my hot tub from this company and the sales person was wonderful! I was able to find a hot tub that was perfect for me and my budget. I am very satisfied. I live in a town house and the squeeze was tight but they did it. The delivery guys took time to help me with my chemicals and were the best!!

I think they treat repeat customers very well. They have been flexible with delivery dates like waiting until we are ready for them. I know they come back to care of issues like years ago they have come back to take care of some installation problem. We have known them for over 30 years and this is the third hot tub that we have got from them. Price wise they gave us a discount for being a repeat customer and a trade in value.

I saw a swim spa from Spa Manufacturer's that I fell in love with at the Tampa Bay Home Show. I put down a deposit and started to plan the installation. Unfortunately, my backyard was not set up for easy installation and it would have required considerable changes and expense to make it all happen. Spa Manufacturers understood and allowed me to cancel the order and refunded my deposit with no hassle. I found their customer service very refreshing and would highly recommend them.

My experience with Spa Manufacturers was extremely wonderful as usual. I sold my house and the new owner wanted the hot tub, sadly I did have to let it go in the sale but the great part is that I was able to return to the company that made purchasing my hot tub a wondedrful and smooth experience. I did not waste my time researching any other companies as I did the first time because I know that there isnt another company that can beat their price and their craftmanship. Between the price, the professional salesmanship and the delivery crew, I DO NOT have any complaints! I did have a service call on my spa a couple weeks ago, due to my own mess up and they dispatched a great tech to get me fixed up ( a word of advise- do not fiddle with things you arent supposed too ) Over all I had excellent service before, during and after my sale. I strongly suggest this company to everyone! No need to waste time anywhere else, Im not.

Showroom experience went fine except for warantee information. They delivered the tub in a timely maner however they did not fill or test the unit. Upon filling the tub we found that several of the jets were glued closed and would not adjust. Also found one of the air lines crimped and not working. It took 3 weeks to get a service person out to correct the jets including a shoulder jet which promply broke. Repairman had to cut the jets free of the silicone glue. Basically the construction was a sloppy job with no quality control to even see if the jets adjusted after installation. This service call was free as it was within 30 days. In the showroom they claimed a 20 year shell warantee and 10 year equipment warantee but no warantee document was provided at time of sale but rather was delivered with the tub. Recenty within the first year the head rest fell off and the shoulder jet broke again. When I called for first year waranty service they said the service would be free but THERE IS A TRAVEL CHARGE FOR SERVICE and it would be less expensive if I glued it back on myself. This was a surprise as it was not explained at time of purchase.

It took 3 weeks from the date of purchase for the company to deliver the unit. they installed it and made sure it was working before they left. Over the next two weeks, I noticed I had to keep adding water and the outlet kept tripping. I took off the door and saw that there was a major leak in the pipes and the heating unit and wires were all wet, which lead to the short. We noticed that the washer was completely loose, I tightened it myself which seemed to stop the water from pouring out. I called the company the next day and asked them to come out and check the unit. I was very unhappy they didn't check this at installation. The service department could not schedule a visit any day that week. They said they would call me back with a date and would give me a box of free chemicals to make up for the inconvienence. They asked to schedule for saturday and I told them I was not available. On saturday, I received multiple phone calls from the repair guy asking when he could come even though I already confirmed this day would not work. On Monday, I got a notice that I needed to call to reschedule as I missed my appt. Really? I called and they said they could only come out the following saturday. I asked them to make it one day during the week. They finally agreed to come on friday. Friday morning I received a call that they needed to move me to Saturday. I told them that wouldn't work and I already waited 2 weeks. A repair guy came out, checked the unit and said I must have fixed the problem by tightening the washer. Then he gave me two half empty dirty bottles of chemicals and left. This company has awful service

"In response to the customer’s complaint: We custom make each spa individually, as we have done for the past 29 years, and typically our manufacturing process takes 2-3 weeks. As the customer stated upon delivery, we (Spa Manufacturers, Inc.) checked the functionality of the unit before departure from the job site. The customer then signed off on the paperwork that the spa had been received in good working order. When the call from the customer was received on 3/22/11 in regards to a possible leak, we immediately scheduled service for 3/26/11. Unfortunately, the customer was not available in the afternoon. In some cases the customer does not need to be available if the spa is directly accessible for repairs. Being a reputable company, we only enter the property and attempt to service the spa after we obtain the home owner’s consent. Over the next few days prior to 3/26/11, multiple attempts were made to contact the customer to find out if we were granted permission to access and service the spa ASAP. In addition to the previous calls and messages, on 3/26/11 four attempts and two messages were left with the owner in our efforts to gain permission to access the spa; there was no response. The customer returned our calls on 3/28/11 and we offered the next available appointment on 4/2/11. The customer was not available on this date, and again wanted to reschedule the appointment on a day that did not conflict with their schedule. At the customer’s request, an appointment was again rescheduled for 4/1/11 and a message was left for the customer on 3/29/11 to confirm this appointment. A confirmation was received from the customer on 3/30/11. Upon arrival on 4/1/11, the technician thoroughly checked the spa and it was found to be operating as designed with no issues reported by the customer. We have been in business for 29 years and have many many happy customers! Customer service is our #1 Priority. We are always here for our customer after the sale. Thank you Sarah Howerton Manager"

A totally awful experience!! The specifications finally provided were incorrect. It only showed 2 pumps when there were 3. The spa leaked at one premanufactured joint. The electrical control box was not functional and was finally replaced about one month after delivery of original. They failed to show or call for two appointments to fix the leak & look at the control panel. Carla actually sang, "la - la - la," when my husband talked to her after no satisfaction with lesser employees. My husband had to re-dig a trench when they realized he was right that there were supposed to be 3 pumps and there were not enough controllers for the pumps. Plus he had to install the pump buttons that were missing from the spa itself. They were "out of stock" and "on back order" and then, " we can't get long enough lengths," for tubing that is usually sold by a huge roll. My husband went to Tampa (extra trip & expense) to buy some tubing so we could finish the installation more than a month after delievery. A horrible experience!!!!
