I have used Small Moves three times (2018, 2019, 2020) and each time they have done a superior job. Scheduling with Lance is easy, pricing is reasonable, appointment confirmed before move day and crew shows up with supplies on time. When the job is complete, they phone the main office with the time it took, they authorize credit card and you’re all set with a job well done. In my opinion, the crew works very hard and they deserve a generous tip. I also referred them to a friend and she was beyond satisfied with their work. As an example, 2 men, 2 hours plus travel time was $330. My last move was small, but for a normal move, I recommend a crew of three. Even though it’s a little more expensive, the job will move a lot faster.

It went really great called before closing on Monday for a move the next day ,as the other people I hired didn't even show or call, So these people are top notch movers and they were a life saver for my father..

2 professional, polite young men secured all of my furniture and belongings. I had many heavy glass top tables..they were wrapped very securely in transport. Quick, professional and took great care in transporting my move. Would definitely hire again. Mary Ann Cayer and John Rasmussen.

Both times they were great to work with. A family owned business that has been around for a long time. The gentlemen who came to do the moving were so nice and willing to help in any way. They seem to love their job-they smile they entire time. I highly recommend this company!

Personnel were fast, efficient and very nice

Both the first and second moves went perfect. The crews were professional, safe , and quick. Both moves went much quicker than expected. The second move was at times up 28 narrow stairs. The guys had some really heavy cabinets two move. Not only were they quick, they had to contend with a furniture delivery. Everything went perfect. Great job!!

Company was on time and timely loaded the truck. All furniture was wrapped which prevented damage. Delivery at new home was prompt and furniture removed from the truck and placed where requested without issue. Price for move was reasonable and the crew was friendly and courteous. This is the second time I have used small movers and will use them.

I was really hoping not to write this review. However, after giving Small Moves a chance to make it right, I was disappointed in their customer service. My advice if you use them is to request an on site estimate. I knew they underestimated their time & supplies which wasn't a problem until they were a day late from running behind on a previous job. The packing was rushed and not done correctly. Several items were broken. I only reported less than $200 in damage. They did approve a claim according to their $0.60 per pound policy. This does not work when a $150 item weighs 10 or 20 pounds. The reason I was hoping they would go outside their policy and reimburse in full was because their team admitted "the owner/supervisors were all away at a family event during my move and normally the job doesn't go that poorly". I wouldn't recommend this company. Not because of mistakes but, in my opinion, a lack of integrity in making them right.

This company is very professional and very friendly. They were asked to move things that were not in the job description and they moved the items without any complaints. The crew was hard working and the office was easy to schedule with. I would recommend them for any size move

The crew arrived on time and were very professional. They took care of my belongings as if their own. Very efficient! Highest of recommendations!!!

The guys were great. They got there early, were both careful with everything and did a great job unloading everything and putting all the boxes in the right rooms!! Would hire again

Two gentleman did the work, they are diligent and did a quick job in the rainy weather.

It went very well, I was very pleased. Furniture was intact, they padded well and took good care of my items.

The men were nice and what they did pack they did a good job, like the things in my hutch but the move itself was a disaster that we were over charged for. The original estimate was $1100 after someone came to the house. Then someone called and said they had to increase it to $1600 and they ended up charging us $2600. For that price we would have gone with a different mover that was known to us. They packed the truck incorrectly and when they arrived at the new house and opened the truck door, items fell out of the truck into the road. During the move the broke a 60" TV ( flat screen 2 years old) and the glass out of one side of my hutch which the guy put his hand through. He offered to come by the next day to replace it. We never saw him. We tried to get money for the glass and the TV from the company by properly filing a claim as they requested and they offered us a check for $26.80, which didn't include anything for the TV. They said the TV should have been in a box... well they did the packing, why didn't they put it in a box? At one point while moving items in the new house, they called me over to ask a question. At that point one of the guys shoved a dolly through the door and right over my foot. The move took from about 9am to 830pm. It was a horrible day and 6 months later we still have not received any compensation for the mistakes they made. We have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Please don't give these people your money. There are several small movers out there. Stay away from this one.
