Neill was awesome from start to finish. Very professional, knowledgeable and great communication throughout, which was huge because I am an out of State owner. Quality work, good reviews and communication are the boxes I look for when deciding on a contractor and Neill checked them all. Very satisfied, definitely recommend, and will be using again soon.

The job went exceptionally well. It was a big job encompassing electrical, plumbing, fireplace, tile and more. On top of that there was plenty of bad work from a previous contractor that didn’t know what he was doing that had to be corrected. Neil showed up when he said he would and did everything he said he would. I would absolutely hire him again.

We had been waiting a number of years to start several projects for our backyard and finding the right contractor to help us turn them into reality was very important. Neill Saxton with Saxton Construction thankfully turned out to be that contractor. We wanted to build a new two car garage, move the overhead lines in our yard to be buried, and upgrade the electrical service coming into the house and the new garage. Through the entire process Neill was there to help provide insight on what was possible and to listen to and adjust plans to address our concerns and questions. Each step of the way we dealt with professional, highly skilled workers, who did things right the first time. They also worked with an efficiency and speediness that made us feel that having the project done on time was as important to them as it was to us. Although there were some needed adjustments to the overall plan as we moved along (needing to upgrade the sewer line for example), Neill had the needed solution every time, and he was honest and upfront about the changes and options so we could evaluate the choices before proceeding. It was a pleasure working with Neill and all those associated with Saxton Construction. They deliver high quality work, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We will definitely work with them again for any future home projects.

We recently finished a project with Saxton Remodeling on our home in Golden. Neil and his team were great, and very easy to work with. The task was to convert our 1970’s built, compartmentalized home into an open concept with a newly designed kitchen. The project included tearing out several loadbearing walls and adding beams and structural supports to carry the load, adding skylights, relocating electrical wiring, adding recessed lighting, re-wiring electrical for the new kitchen layout, new drywall and insulation, and replacing/refinishing wood floors. Neil was on budget and on time. He kept in constant communication, and made it clear to us that it was important to him that we were completely happy with the job. As with any project of this size there were a few changes/issues that came up during the job, and Neil worked with us to make sure that we got what we wanted. And he was always fast and responsive when we had issues/questions. We searched for 2 years for a contractor and had a couple of bad experiences along the way. So, we are very happy that Neil was recommended to us, and we will be working with him on some additional renovations in our home. I would recommend Saxton Remodeling to anyone looking for a contractor that they can trust to care about their project and follow through until the end.

Neill Saxton has developed an amazing company and I am proud to recommend Neill's services. We purchased an older home in desperate need of a basement remodel. Not only did he come in in just under budget for our basement (just under 1000 SF), but he worked seamlessly with the Denver Permit department, was highly responsive to their comments and we know the work was done correctly. The work included gutting the entire basement, new floated walls and framing, drywall, texture, paint, baseboard trim, new flooring throughout, door installation, closet finish, and a custom basement wet bar. The quality of his work as well as the work of his subcontractors is spectacular. Neill is very hands-on, high-touch with all of his subs, was on the job site almost every day, and ensures they meet his standards before signing off. We moved into our basement and unfortunately two days later suffered a sewer line back up (nothing to do with the original basement remodel). Both our family and Neill were heartbroken to see the loss of the newly installed basement finishes (partial loss) and following remediation, Neill and his subcontractors made all the repairs, re-finished the loss areas after repair, and did it at cost. Not only is he a great and diligent business owner, but he is compassionate, extremely focused, and cares a great deal about his clients and the outcome of their projects. I am happy to recommend Neill, and wish you luck getting on his calendar. He takes only as much as his business and contractors will allow, pushes his contractors hard and himself harder.

Started and finished on schedule and within budget. The few problems that came up were quickly resolved to my satisfaction. Neill was very easy to work with.

Work performed as promised and stated in his bid. Very well done in a timely manner with some minor alterations I requested with no hassle. Neill is easy to work with and listens to what you want done. He returned calls quickly if I was unable to contact him first time, and had good suggestions for things I was unsure of.

It went very well. Neill was easy to work with and listened to my requests. He does quality work in a timely manner using high grade supplies. I wanted to provide windows and a door and that was no problem either. I am more than satisfied with the final result.

Saxton Remodeling was amazing to work with, we are so glad we found them and used them for our remodel. The owner and GC, Neill Saxton, was wonderful to work with. He was professional, responsive, attentive, and patient with us, and we will absolutely use him for our next remodel project. here's a little about our project: We needed an extra room added to our house, and we had a living room with a vaulted ceiling above that was perfect for the space. We had Neill fill in the vaulted ceiling to add the bedroom above. The project was fairly straight forward, if not a little complicated, but Neill handled it with professionalism. From the beginning contract, all the way thorough the final walkthrough and after, Neill was amazing to work with. The contract he had us sign was transparent and straight forward, as was all of our dealings with him throughout the build out. Neill was always good about responding to phone calls and answering questions. If we left a voicemail we always got a response within 24 hours. Although he is new to being a GC, you can tell that he has a great deal of experience in the construction world. As is the case with any remodel, various challenges and miscommunications arose during our project. Neill handled all of these with professionalism as well. He was willing to fix mistakes that were his, and when we had new additions we wanted to make to the original contract, he was clear and fair when negotiating reasonable solutions. He was able to be flexible or firm when the situation required it, and he and his subs always showed up on the day they said they would, at the time they said they would. His Subcontractors were good and efficient at their jobs as well. All of the work done in our home was done well, and all of the subs were friendly and respectful to our home and family. Then, to top it off, he finished the project earlier then he said he would, and made a specific point to come and clean up after the job was complete. Believe it or not it can be hard to find people who will deliver on what they say they will. Above all, Neill was clear and concise about what he would do for us, he showed up when he said he would, he did what he said he would, and he finished before he said he would. In addition, he was friendly and enjoyable to be around. We will absolutely use Saxton Remodeling for every project we have going forward.
