- stairs and floor are squeaking
- nails are sticking out from stairs rails (dangerous) and baseboards.
- stairs balusters were not vertical. When corrected, left previous holes unplugged. Most of the balusters are not nailed.
- many baseboards are loose, not fitting well, and not caulked (not ready for painting)
- floor in the bedroom is very uneven. There is huge bump running across bedroom, due to high floor joist. Floor is squeaking when stepping on each side of it. No attempt was made to level the floor or bring problem to attention.
- many gaps between floor planks
- when texturing kitchen walls, texture was sprayed everywhere, including baseboards, cabinets, refrigerator, hardwood floors. No cleaning.
- left white residue on garage floor and driveway. Got complaints about it from Homeowners Association
- when demolishing bathroom, threw shower glass door from third floor window (!) Glass shattered into pieces covering neighbors driveways (and cars), Did not bother to clean.
- damaged screen on balcony, Did not fix.
- clogged 3rd floor bathroom toilet by using paper towels. This caused water leak from washer through ceiling
Not recommended.

We closed on our historic NE house in June and Ryan and George came to the house that day to assess refinishing the floors. The floors of the main house had termite damage and many boards had to be replaced. In addition, the floors had many areas of discoloration. The apartment/guest house was also in need of refinishing. The base boards of the main house were not uniform and many of the boards did not have shoe molds. They had approximately 12 days to complete the main house and guest house floor refinishing and repairs before our furniture arrived from out of state. They arrived early in the morning and worked beyond normal working hours (after 9 PM some days) in order for the floor refinishing to be completed on time. The refinishing of the main house and guest house floors, as well as, installing a floor in a closet that once held a furnace, was exceptional. The new boards that replaced termite damaged boards were the exact match to the original floor boards. The shoe molds were added to make the rooms uniform. They were extremely professional throughout the process and kept us informed every step of the way. During the time period we were out of state to close on our previous house and pack up our furniture, Ryan was given keys to our house. They continued to work long hours while we were gone and locked up the house every night. The day the furniture arrived, Ryan came to the house and checked on the floors. He repaired part of a floor that was marked up by the movers that same day. The floors look amazing! Our experience with RHF Construction was outstanding. They were extremely friendly, professional, honest, and reliable. We would highly recommend RHF Construction and plan on calling them again for future projects.

Overall the project was completed on time and on estimate with the outcome exceeding my expectations.
