Steve showed up on time and went right to work. True to his word, he came in got the job done right and left. I am very happy that contractors like Steve still exist. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I highly recommend.

It went very well. He was here on time and got straight to work. Explained what he was doing as he did it. After he left, a few days later the door began to slide slightly open again. I gave him a call and he was back within a few days to fix it for no extra cost. Would recommend.

Steve was punctual and efficient. He took the time to explain to me what he was doing. I had a few questions a week or so after he left and he kindly took the time to help me. The doors are all working perfectly now. I would DEFINITELY recommend him.

I'd recommend Patio Door Repair over others. My door track had a big dip in it that was constantly making the large door jump off the track. I called several different places on Angies List (I always use Angies now) about fixing my door. They were all what I would have considered expensive for the work, but Patio Door Repair took the time to explain the different options for new tracks and rollers, and offered me the choice of different tracks. No one else did. He offered me a higher quality track that the others did not, and when he came out he was professional, and got it done quickly with no wasted time. Door is smooth as silk :)

Arrived as scheduled. Inquired what the problem was. demonstrated to him the problem. had the necessary parts on his truck to accomplish the repairs. Was very knowledgeable , friendly and explained in detail what the repair encompassed. I would recommend Steve Leonard  to do repairs on patio doors without reservation.

He charged me a trip charge of $90, $50 for the handles, and $100 an hour for labor. He took the doors off of the rollers and claimed that I asked for the rollers to be fixed. He moved furniture around unnecessarily. He deducted $50 from the original estimate. The door handle is still loose.
Response from PATIO DOOR REPAIR INC

"All customers before I head to the job are told on the phone what my prices are. This customer was no exception This particular customer ([removed member name]) called me 3 or 4 weeks prior to the Job. She inquired about replacing the outer broken handles for the job. I asked her to send pics. of the handles so I would know what kind to have on hand. She didn’t and she never called back. However a guy named Mr Fritz called me and said that he was calling for [removed member name] [removed member name]. In my notes He told me that rollers and door handles were needed and I told him my prices also. He gave me the OK to set a schedule time to work on the doors(Tues.March 17th at 10 am. I was on time for the job. Upon arrival I parked in a guest spot across from the entrance of this multi story condo about a 100ft.from the entrance. Upon entering the unit I needed to clear furniture on the porch area to have room to lay the door down to replace the rollers on the door. Mr. Fritz helped me move the patio furniture. After removing the door,[removed member name] asked me why I was removing the door because she said, she wanted the door handles replaced only on the 2 doors. I told her Mr. Fritz told me on the phone that the rollers also needed replacement(in my notes). They needed replacement, because on a heavy insulated door that weighs appox.160 lbs.with bad rollers the weight of the door dragging adds extra stress on cast aluminum handles and causes them to break. That’s why her handles broke in the first place. So, I put the door back and didn’t replace the rollers(about 30 mins.of time to remove door and reinstall door). This contradicted what Mr. Fritz set up the appointment to begin with. So,then I proceeded to replace the handles. These are custom type exterior handles and bolt patterns vary. I had to match bolt patterns with handles in my work van. Before finding a matching handle I was told by a maintenance man that I parked my work van in the wrong spot and had to move it 1000ft to service truck parking area. This added time to the job. To shorten the story, both handles were replaced and it took approximately 15 mins. per door to replace ea. exterior handle. I also had to resize attachment bolts(non standard size) for proper tightness for attachment of the handles. Total time spent on the job was 1 hr. 15 min. When I gave her the bill [removed member name] had a fit because of my time charged. I then deducted $50 dollars off the bill. As I told her and Mr. Fritz on the phone previously before coming to the job my labor rate was $50 per half hour,$90 trip charge plus the price of the handles. The handles where $25 each. So basically I charged only a half hour for being there for 1.25 hrs. She seemed OK with the discount and the bill was paid. I could still sense some unhappiness when I left. A few days latter on Friday of the same week I received a voice mail on my phone that one of her handles cane loose. I came back to the job that afternoon and replaced the mounting screws on that handle and everything was ok with no charges. She then started complaining of my rates on repairs that I originally charge. I told her and her friend Fritz again that I gave her my rates previous on the phone before scheduling the job. I guess bad communication between her and her friend. I then left her condo with her saying that she was going to write to Angies List. Basically, there’s always one customer you can never please even when you try. My previous Angies List customer testimonials through out the years are proof of my quality service."

Our sliding glass door had been squeaky and very hard to slide for a long time. We weren't sure if it could even be fixed, but decided to call Patio Door Repair to make a service appointment. Steve, the owner, came out right on time on the day of the appointment and got to work. In a very short time he had it sliding like new, maybe even better than new! Now using the door is a pleasant experience, instead of a chore.
We highly recommend Patio Door Repair.

Steve contacted us in a very timely manner. He listened to me explain our problem with our patio doors and assured me that a quick fix of our screen at the local hardware store would no doubt take care of our troubles. It was refreshing to deal with such a pleasant, honest and caring person. He will definitely get our business in the future and will be highly recommended to all our friends.

AMAZING! Steve is 100% professional and knows his stuff! I was given estimates from $1,000 up to $2,500 for repair or replacement. Thank goodness I called Steve! For $160 he took my door from barely moving or locking to a one finger (pinky finger) operation. Brand new door and fully operational and done in 45 mins! He estimated 2-2.5 hours since he hadn't seen the door, which I was fully expecting knowing it's age and horrible operation at the time.
I am so happy with this service and HIGHLY recommend!

Excellent!  I was afraid I would need new doors, but he took off the panels and replaced the roller on one, cleaned the tracks, and even fixed the locking latch and fixed the rubber holding the glass in.  Now the doors slide like they never have before, and I saved a lot of money.  I would recommend this company to everyone.

I emailed them on the weekend, they contacted me first thing Monday and set up appointment for Wednesday when I would be available.  Very fast response.

I give him an a+ for sure. Some of the doors he could not work on as there is a settling problem.  But he be back once we get the foundation problem fixed. He was timely, professional, fast, way under budget, and I never imagined the doors could be restored so beautifully!
