I took a 2006 dodge ram 2500 diesel into have the Air Conditioner looked at and was quoted a $980.00 to repair. Not knowing anything about New Hope I specifically asked if she was qualified to repair AC systems and her answer was absolutely. Unfortunately I quickly learned that not only was she totally lost, according to her comments was even watching you tube videos because she was having problems with the repair. From the onset it appeared that there was a lot of drama surrounding the shop like "I have a blown o-ring in my ac compressor" to "your truck is difficult to work on" thus delaying my repair. I was very clear to Hope that I need my truck on the road due to being a state nuisance alligator trapper and being on call for Florida Fish and Wildlife. The initial repair took over 5 days while I listened to various excuses about the various control boxes doors that were broken. It was like she worked on one door at a time per day and it was always "I have to order another door" so needless to say replacement of the 5 doors and five days plus the time to get the evaporator replaced ended up in my truck being down for a good period of time causing not only a loss of time I lost income from trapping which she cared absolutely nothing about. Instead of drilling out the broken bolt in my center console like a professional would do she just simply pried it up until it pulled through and damaged the console then had the audacity to blame it on me and my truck when the damaging tools were in her hands. The first repair cost was up to over $1,400.00 to replace the evaporator and the doors in the control box she replaced one at a time and seemed to have trouble finding replacement parts for which was far over the original $980.00 estimate. Approximately one week later the AC system failed again and she was to investigate again which took an additional three days to fix. Upon arrival the second time I was told that I had to move my truck and trailer to not block the road. Where I was instructed to park there was no room so I took the trailer home dropped it and returned hot and sweaty. She immediately started barking at me because I didn't follow her instructions and continued after I explained why I just took the trailer home and dropped it she became irrational. She accused my of wearing my feelings on my shirt sleeve and my emotions on my face "I was hot and sweaty from no AC" and stated if I wanted a ******* contest I came to the right place. My comment "I guess I am you huckleberry" if you want a ******* contest game on because I was the one that paid you to fix my AC. I am a 59 year old man that has been around the automotive industry since the age of 13 and I have never been treated with such rudeness and unprofessional actions by any mechanic man or woman. According to her, this time it was a blown hose that she found after her snap on tool truck vendor showed her how to read her snap on Freon leak detection unit. Qualified I think not! If someone is watching you tube videos and having vendors teach them how to read their own testing equipment something is very wrong. The second repair she admitted to having the snap on tool truck man teach her how to read her equipment and after more you tube videos it was discovered "according to her" that a weird hose was blown. Not only did she not know what the hose was, she was unable to get it disconnected from the dryer. after complaining about rusted fittings which was totally false she ended up replacing the dryer and the hose according to her at the cost again of over $400.00 because she said she could not get them apart. Not once did she ever show me any of the parts she replaced for the additional $500.00 her general attitude was just horrible because I didn't take her garbage and how she was addressing me, I am the paying customer. Now for the fun part! after all is said and done at a cost of over $1,900.00 the radio that was working when I took the truck into the shop is now dead. All it does is tell the time and the volume only goes to #1 with no sound. So after a total 8 days down, putting up with her unprofessional attitude or in her words "a ******* contest" not mine and $1,900.00 out of pocket now the radio that no longer works I am only left with one thought. I wouldn't trust this repair shop to work on a roller skate. Very unprofessional, to much drama in the shop, and way short on knowledge they profess to have. I would never recommend New Hope Auto to ANYONE! After looking at the receipt for the doors she replaced, she said she sent a $135.00 Door kit back because of price and re-ordered it from doorman products however she charged me for the dealer version. Guess you cant trust much of what she is said there, I now wonder if the hose was really replaced being was really blown, I didn't see it and it was certainly not offered up. She also charged me for the accumulator she replaced because she said she wasn't strong enough to separate from the hose. Sad that people have to put up with this type of service! and get yelled at to boot plus additional damage they do to other items in the truck!

My A/C went out on my 2012 Kia Sedona Van. Kia and 2 other local locations diagnosed wrong and said part was on back order. Hope with New Hope Auto & Truck Services got my A/C running in less then half the amount of time as Kia, in addition the coast was several hundred dollars less then what all other quoted me! I have used New Hope Auto in the past and so glad I returned! They have a lifetime customer! They truly care and are very knowledgeable!!

Hope took my car in as soon as I got there and within 30 minutes I was back on the road with a new and new battery cables which were provided Free. If you need you car or truck repaired or serviced I highly recommend New Hope Auto & Truck Repair. Quality services by quality people at fair prices.

We had used Hope for years happily for years. Over the past 2 years the work they were doing was rather spotty. It seemed like there was always some drama going on there and the service was definitely suffering. This last visit we brought our Lexus SUV in to have the starter replaced. It took about a week for them to get it done. We were told that they got in a defective starter that they discovered after installing it. We stopped by to pick it up and when we started it up all the lights came on and it was running horrible. It was misfiring and bucking. Brought the keys back inside and told her to fix the problem that they created. A week later we get a call that one of the valves was bent. The exhaust valve located right next to the starter was the one bent. A week later we are told that the head was damaged and needed to be repaired. I spoke with several other mechanic friends and they said that what more than likely happened was that they dropped a bolt into the intake when they were swapping out the starter. The bolt caused the valve to break, damaged the head and was shot out of the exhaust. Hope tried to blame the damage on an overdue oil change and bad gasoline. We always put premium in. After another two weeks we get a call saying the the vehicle was ready for pickup. When we picked it up it the engine was making a lot of noise, rapping and tapping. About a mile down the road all the check engine lights came back on. We immediately took the vehicle to autozone to get what fault codes were causing this. The codes were for a bad catalytic converter. This makes perfect sense since whatever bolt they dropped into the engine was shot out of the exhaust. We then drove to the Lexus dealership. They confirmed that the catalytic converter was shot. They also confirmed our suspicions about the damage done. Hope refused to take any responsibility for our vehicle's damage even though she said she fired the mechanic who had worked on the SUV. The cost to repair the damage to the engine was $3500 and the catalytic converter replacement was $1500. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the engine or catalytic converter when we brought our vehicle in to have the starter replaced. Blaming a bent valve on using cheap gas is absurd especially seeing that we only use premium gas. The way that we were treated and the outcome of this visit clearly showed us that Hope is not the honest and upright mechanic that she holds herself out to be. As a sanity check we actually got a third and fourth opinion about this and every single mechanic we spoke with said that there was no doubt that they were responsible for the damages to our vehicle. I IMPLORE YOU NOT TO TAKE WHAT SHE SAYS AT FACE VALUE. SHE ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

We completely trust Hope. She is honest, very fairly priced, and realistic. On one occasion she installed a part and then when it was determined that it wasn't the problem she removed it and didn't even charge us for the labor. With a different vehicle she said while she'd be happy to work on it, the cost of the repairs probably weren't worth it based on the age and other conditions of the car. We've never had any issues with things she has repaired and she is always clear about what she's doing. Hope is our "go to mechanic" for any vehicle repair that is not covered under warranty!

The lovely staff at New Hope Auto helped me replace the parts I needed in a very timely manner for a very reasonable price! I would recommend them to anyone and I will use them in the future for sure!

I have used them many times and have always been satisfied. It is a very busy shop and I think they may be having growing pains. I was trying to explain the situation and kept getting put on hold so they could take another phone call. 

DIDN'T GET THE FIRST TIME. CAR RAN HOT AGAIN AFTER 2 DAYS. I WAS JUST AS HOT. RETURNED CAR. GOT IT RIGHT 2ND. TIME. A/C UNITS ARE TRICKY AND TIME CONSUMING. RUNNING GRAET NOW. NEED TO GET THRU ONE MORE YEAR WITH OLD GOLDIE. I WOULD USE HOPE AGAIN.

They were very nice and I felt they were honest with me about the repairs that were needed.  The pricing was fair and just nice people.

I have been there several times. I like that a woman runs it. I think they are fair and I don't feel like they are trying to gouge me. I think that they are very honest.

The first time there the office manager had just suffered a loss of a long-time family pet and was distraught, which caused some confusion in the amount that was to be paid.  I've been there, though and so and took that into account.  The part that needed to be replaced wouldn't fit into my car correctly so had to be re-tapped.  The manager was very apologetic both of her upset and of the time it took to re-tap the replacement part.  Overall, a good job done by all concerned.  And my car didn't sound like a sick cow once they fixed it either, which was a definite plus!
The second time I went to have the car checked over to 1) make sure the power steering wasn't leaking after a 600-mile drive and 2) make sure the hood functioned correctly after a fender bender, the manager was much more in control, but still seemed a bit distracted, handing me a blank work order form to sign without any notes to the mechanic.  That was corrected as soon as I pointed it out.  Again, the mechanics did a good job making sure my car had no major issues and that the hood would open when it was supposed to and stay closed when driving at 65 mph, which was my biggest concern.  They priced the work done reasonably.  I would say the one thing I'd like to see would be a bit more professionalism behind the front desk.  I'll go back again for other repairs, since it does seem that they're honest and really care about making sure my car is running well.

My air conditioning is working great.

I had gone to several mechanics to have an Oil leak checked out. Was told by these mechanics that it would cost over $600 to repair as they would have to pull apart the engine block to fix it. I did not trust these other mechanics, as I used to work on my own cars. So I took the 1997 Ford Ranger to New Hope Auto and Truck Services to look over it. They spotted that someone had previously dropped as well as damaged the Oil filter, it was loose and leaking. New Hope fixed the filter issue and told us that was all it was. I had a feeling about New Hope as I saw others gave them good reviews. I will bring my other vehicles to them in the future as they seem fair and honest. I think that is all people want is a mechanic that is fair and honest. Two thumbs up in my books on New Hope Auto and Truck Services.

My 2006 Jeep Wrangler had been leaking differential fluid and the A/C wasn't working, so I researched auto service companies on Angie's List and found New Hope Auto & Truck!  It had very high ratings and positive reviews so I gave it a shot.  And I'm glad I did!  After bringing the car in, Hope told me exactly what I needed and didn't push anything on me.  And I actually was behind on servicing a couple other things, so she suggested doing those as well.  She went into detail about the repairs so it was very understandable and she made sure I felt comfortable with everything.  Price and timing were great!  They did the repairs right then and there.  While making the repairs, I sat in a nice, large waiting room that has a tv to watch and magazines to read.  After completing the repairs, the mechanic and/or Hope drove my car in the parking lot to ensure it was fixed.  Then Hope came out to explain how it all went.  Fantastic service!
After a few weeks, I received something in the mail that said New Hope Auto & Truck had inputted my car into their system and they will alert me when it's time for regular scheduled maintenance.  I don't have to move forward with the repair if I don't want to, but it's one example of them going the extra mile for their customers.  With being very busy, this is a huge help and something I appreciate.  Another example of this was when I received their newsletter in the mail.  It comes out each month and includes helpful self-car maintenance tips and tricks among other things.  The last example I'll share of their exception service is when I received a follow-up call from Hope a month after the repairs regarding the state of my car.  Everything was working great and I told her that.  The fact that she genuinely cares about her customers was impressive to experience.  Normally you don't hear back from the car mechanic after a service is performed, so that was great!
Because of their above-and-beyond customer service, competitive prices, fantastic quality, attention to detail, and follow-ups after servicing, I have found the place to go to for all of my car repairs.  I will only go to New Hope Auto & Truck now and I encourage you all to as well!

My initial contact with Hope was excellent. She was professional, but friendly. She was able to give me a quote on the work over the phone, and I decided to make an appointment and get it completed. I cannot begin to tell you how refreshing it is to be able to take your car in for repair and feel good about it. Everyone I came in contact with at New Hope Auto & Truck Services was great. I was treated with respect. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. The cost for the repairs was reasonable and fair. The work took a little over an hour, so I saw a couple of people come and go and everyone was treated the same way. This place is top notch.

I had my car towed in via AAA because it wouldn't start. I spoke to Hope and found her to be professtional and very knowledgeable. She checked out my car and called with the cost of repairs.  When I needed a ride to her garage she sent one of her mechanic's to pick me up which was most helpful. I will definately use this garage in the future.

She’s a good mechanic; that’s something that’s hard to find around here.  I’ve been going for a few years; when I find a good mechanic I’m going to hang on to them.  This is the only person I let work on my cars.  Her fees are either at the competition’s level or usually they are below.  She has a full service for foreign and American vehicles including diesel.  She has a 2 year, 24,000 mile warranty on her work.  There aren’t many mechanics that do that.  She has free car care classes that are particularly for women.  She is a woman herself and she know there are a lot of women that have to take care of their cars.  She fixes air conditioning, she does electric repair and she has a corporate discount available.  She does computer diagnostics and she welcomes fleet accounts.  She has free towing with repairs as well as free towing with repairs.  She is an engine and transmission specialist.  She has early, late, and weekend appointments.  She is a very nice lady and she is honest, courteous, and reliable and her people are too.  I have had no complaints.  She is very much on time; when she tells you how much time it will take, that’s what it is.  She is very professional.
