We were cold called as National Heating and Air Conditioning was looking for business. Coincidentally we needed our AC drain line replaced. Since we live in a townhouse, we knew it was a job that required to run a long drain line run. They said no problem. My wife showed them what needed to be done, and they came out and said everything was completed. We paid them and assumed everything was completed. A couple hours after AC stopped working. They came out and replaced the float. Then AC starts leaking in the ceiling. They came out and said that was fixed. Then starts leaking again and they said it was fixed. Then we are told we need to replace the drain line, and it will be 2k more. I explained to them that this is the reason we hired you. The owner Bryan Henderson was supposed to call me and never did. We came home from our vacation and our ceilings on all floors were water damaged. Owner finally calls us and is extremely aggressive and argumentative. Then hangs up on me.

Timely. Efficiently. Very informative. This last inspection, Sean was training Tommy and they were teaching me how to take care of my air conditioner. Which were all done under a preventative maintenance agreement and they have never left me without air.

I Had to get my AC Check. I searched and called National Heating and Air Conditioning. I booked the AC tuneup appointment, great customer service. The AC tech was on time, he was polite and He did an 18 Point AC Tuneup. They had an offer and my first tuneup was free of charge. They gave a written report. Great service will use them again and will recommend. Thanks Guys.

After an inspection the technician said that the AC unit needed two replacement parts very soon (said they were blackened and burnt) or I would end up having a major repair bill. His price was very high so I decided to get a second opinion. The second company inspected the parts that National said needed to be replaced. They said the parts looked like new and took clear pictures to prove it. The pictures showed the true condition. I considered National to be dishonest after seeing the pictures and would never hire them.

It was installed within a few days. However, this unethical company told me that my 6 year old heat pump was no longer under warranty so I allowed them to do the work. Within 10 minutes of my payment to them and the technician leaving, I found my original paperwork that showed that I had a 12 year labor and parts warranty. I immediately called the company and told them whereupon Mark told me he would look into it and get back to me. After waiting for a week with no call from Mark or anyone else, I proceeded to call again and sent them the paperwork showing my warranty. Since then, I have been unable to talk to anyone at the company, no one will call back, even though I have been calling nearly every day except for 2 weeks when I was told Mark was indisposed and with his family. No one answers the phone, I go to voicemail where I leave my name and number, and no one calls me back. Since then I found out that they have an F+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. I wish I had done my research before allowing them to work on my heat pump.

Very well. The workers sawing and dismantling old metal duct work accidentally sawed through an electric cord and knocked out the hall light. We had an electrician fix it, and National Heating & Air Conditioning reimbursed us for the cost of the electrical work. I would recommend National Heating and Air Conditioning to all of my friends and neighbors.

They came and installed a new split system. The installation was the worst job I have ever seen. The duct that was attached to the air handler detached and blew cold air into our attic. The unit had condensate covering the bottom of the unit. They came out and redid the duct. The unit still had condensate on the bottom. I insisted that they replace the unit. When they went to replace, they found out the factory notified them of the defect and had a retrofit to fix the condensate problem. Several weeks later the inspector red tagged the unit because of the poor duct connection. The company came out and re-did the connecting duct work. The entire process took about 2 months.

Tech arrived and insisted I watch him. He lambasted my unit during and after his gauge reading, etc., and sat down in my kitchen and drew up a sales proposal for a new unit. I nearly shouted at him to leave and put it in the mail. He refused, and said he had to call his sales Mgr. to review his proposal. In effect, he was proving to him that he was following his instructions. Two days later I had no heat. He foul wired the heat strip and forced me into a replacement. My unit still works!!

If I could give National an A+++ I would. I have a maintenance program with National, and during our service call last week, the technician pointed out that in August it was noted that my 12 year old system was very rusty and parts were leaking. I remember at the time asking if it was urgent to replace or we could get a few more months, and the technician said a few more months, but be prepared. It was definitely time - I was shown the tools used to measure efficiency and power consumption and was appalled at how much electricity it was taking to keep the house cool and agreed the time had come. Two days later, got a GREAT new system with much less energy load and far greater cooling efficiency. In August I had asked for a plasma negative ion device to be added to ensure we kept the air quality high in the home - I have a 99 year old mother and don't want to risk any breathing issues. I asked specifically that the device be moved to the new HVAC unit. Somehow the unit never made it to the new unit, but one call to National and the next day a member of the team told me that the following day I'd have a new unit - installed free of charge. Two other team mates come out today and did the install - super great guys - and I got to see the actual unit; about the size of a RUBIX cube so I understood how easy it was to over look it doing the replacement. I am so impressed with and grateful for this great service. I hope anyone who wants honesty and integrity from an HVAC company chooses National.
