Our salesperson, Marcus, was fantastic. He was polite, professional, knowledgable, and patient with us. He methodically took us through all of our options, taking time to explain the pros and cons of each option. We would defintiely go back to him, given how painless and informative he made the sales process. If he was the only component of this transaction, it would have been "A's" across the board.
The problem was with the the delivery crew. They were rude and impatient. They
had to borrow my tools to do the assembly job with the new mattress, they did not bring their own. They were supposed to attach our current head board to the new mattress frame but first said they had not brought the brackets to do the attachment and then tried to tell us that a headboard what not work with the mattress we had purchased, which turned out to be a falsehood. Seemed like they were only too anxious to get in and get out regardless of the job they did. We were happy to get rid of them and get them out of our house.
When we called back the store and spoke with Marcus, he was professional and apologetic. He actually came out to our house twice to do the head board assembly himself, a job that sholdl ahve been done by the delivery guys with their tools, not mine. Marcus saved the day from Mattress Firm's reputation perspective, both doing a great sales job and then taking the time to finish the service aspect his delivery guys botched.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS A NIGHTMARE! WHEN I CALLED TO CONFIRM THE SET HAD COME IN BEFORE I WENT TO PICK IT UP, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS STILL OUT OF STOCK. I WAS TOLD I COULD DRIVE ACROSS TOWN AND GET A USED FLOOR MODEL FROM ONE OF THEIR OTHER STORES, OR WAIT FOR MINE, WHICH WOULD BE ANOTHER WEEK! THE SALESPERSON WAS EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL AND DID NOTHING TO TRY AND REMEDY THE SITUATION. I ASKED FOR A REFUND THAT DAY, 8/12, AND IT TOOK 5 PHONE CALLS, 3 VISITS TO THE STORE, AND A MILLION EXCUSES FROM THEM UNTIL I FINALLY GOT MY REFUND ON 10/7.
